My Vamo does not like clearos. Tried three now and they just stop working.

Have taken one to bits now and the coil works OK in my Nova tank but not in the clearo housing.

Have pulled the centre pin back out in the clearo as my Vamo pushes it way too much but still no joy.

Reading 9.9 on the ohms test in a clearo but if I put the coil in my Nova it's 2.7ohms and we are good to go.

Anyone?

Have read that thread but am unsure where the grommet should sit.

This is the centre post with grommet. grommet 030.jpg

And this is the housing.grommet 031.jpg

He is referring to the grommet/washer that sits under the + contact plate on the vamo itself - not the clearomizer. If you take a small eyeglass screwdriver or pocket knife w/ a point and GENTLY lift the Vamo's contact plate you will see the washer in question underneath. Just lifting the pin/plate as described should allow your clearo to make contact and work! However, for a "long term" fix, you can dig out the factory washer underneath the contact plate on the vamo and replace it with the washer that's described in Noleinthenati's posted link.

Good luck!

I am having center post problems with my vivi nova.
I am mad at it. the one head stopped working
and the new one is firing but I can't get any suction lol
ANYWAY it seems to me some vivi novas are PICKY about what battery they are on.
And I've been fighting with them all day.
Gave up and put a little generic nano on my vamo xD
it looks ridiculous

My Vamo doesn't hate clearos but it likes some better than others. If you use one with a replaceable coil, like a Ce5, it's best to make sure that you screw the snot out of the coil section to make sure that when you unscrew the clearo, the whole thing comes unscrewed, not just the tank.
