My VAMO V3 is HERE! But I do have an issue with the top ring :(

So it took 8 days for my VAMO V3 to get here from fasttech and I couldn't be happier! I have my 18650's charging as we speak so I'll be ready to try it out first thing in the morning when I wake up.

I do have one issue however, I was able to unscrew all of the parts except for the top ring and wondered if anyone else has had this problem. Right now the only way it looks like I'll be able to unscrew it is with a pair of channellocks but worried if I force it I'll break it.

Thoughts?

Use rubber gloves, rubber jar opener, or produce rubber bands... anything to help you get a grip. If you're going to use pliers, use leather as the wrap instead of tape of cloth... an old leather belt would do well to help prevent the pliers from digging through.

I received mine today with no issues of it coming off.. came off first type very easily! Like previous post, I would definitely try something that will give a much better grip to get it off first before resorting to pliers

Well I've tried rubber gloves with no luck but for now I am just going to leave it be. My protank 2 seems to fit just fine so I'll try to remove it in a couple of days
