Vendor: My Vape Juice
Liquid: My Hero Tobacco - Vanilla Blend 70/30 PG/VG 6mg
Setup: Dripping on a standard Smart Vapes bridgeless atomizer with 18350 epipe
Description: We used a combination of two premium vanilla extracts along with a couple other great flavors to push this vanilla tobacco blend right over the top. It is made using the same proprietary organic tobacco extract which uses locally grown tobacco. Totally different tasting vape from the same My Hero line. Good stuff!
Thoughts:
My Vape Juice (MVJ) has recently released two extracted tobaccos, original and vanilla. Diane let's us know exactly what is in Vanilla blend (besides a few flavors) and Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco. She also had the extract tested for the exact nicotine. That is efficiency. I reviewed the original yesterday and gave it raving reviews. Diane also sent this along for me to sample. I have let it steep for eleven days now.
The juice is dark brown in color, though not too dark. It is watery in texture but that would be a result of PG dominance. When I first received the bottle it smelled strongly of vanilla, although the smell has calmed down much after the steeping. When I first tried this, the vanilla was the dominant flavor. I really didn't get any tobacco.
Tonight, I decided give it another try for this review. The flavor is still dominantly vanilla. As said in the description, there are various vanilla flavorings. The "couple other great flavors" provide an almost spicy aspect. On inhale the vanilla(s) are present, while on exhale the tobacco flavor makes an arrival. Because the tobacco is Broadleaf tobacco, the flavor is exactly like the wrapper of a cigar. Not a strong tobacco, but a mild flavor.
As for the throat hit, it is good for 6mg. The vapor production is also good. The liquid is very clean for an extracted tobacco, something very few vendors selling extracts accomplish.
Final Thoughts:
You've never had a tobacco like this. First off, the vanillas and other flavors create a unique flavor that is unparalleled. I do recommend letting this one steep for a week in order for the flavorings to blend a bit. While I do enjoy those flavors, I wish the tobacco was a little more present (only for my own personal tastes). This might be categorized as a dessert tobacco than a straight one, although it isn't too sweet. For those looking for an introduction into the extracted tobacco world, this would be a great addition.
When I write my reviews, I think on a few points: would I reach for this flavor in the future? Would I finish the current bottle? Would I reorder this? I don't think I would reorder this one, but I did finish the bottle. 8/10
