Thoughts:
When My Vape Juice (MVJ) first became a vendor, I emailed Diane, the curator, whether the tobacco flavorings were artificial or natural. She informed me that they were artificial, but she was looking into extractions. She told me that she was planning to release extractions by January 2013. A few weeks later she emailed me saying an extract was ready and said she was satisfied with the results. She told me that she was going to get the nicotine checked in case some transferred from the extract process. She sent me an email telling me it was ready and sent me some to review. It arrived December 8th, has had ten days to steep, and now is ready to review.
First off, this is a somewhat dark colored eliquid. When the cap is off there is almost no odor. The liquid is a bit on the watery blend but considering it is 70% PG, this is understandable. When I first tried it on arrival, the flavor was a bit weak. After ten days, things have changed. On inhale there is a mild, rather enjoyable tobacco flavor. The flavor is not faint nor does it attach your mouth. The flavor is very balanced. The tobacco tastes exactly like you'd think tobacco tastes. It's a good ol'merican flavor. There are no exotic smokey/spicy/etc. aspect to it. There are no additional flavors. Broadleaf tobacco is grown in Connecticut and typically used as a cigar wrapper. That is exactly the flavor. It's not cigarish in the fact that cigars are filled with South American grown tobaccos. It tastes just like the wrapper.
Of course at 6mg the throat hit will be light, but it is very present. For a dominantly PG blend, the vapor production is very good. This also is a very clean eliquid, not wrecking atomizer as most extracted tobaccos do.

All of these questions MVJ has answered. We know exactly what kind of tobacco it is made of(kudos for it being local in CT). She has tested the nicotine levels so no one overdoses with not exact nicotine levels. "Cleanliness is next to Godliness" applies to life and also eliquids. While there are some amazing extracts out there, most destroy atomizers/cartomizers resulting in unnecessary money spent on hardware. You don't have to worry about that with MVJ. It is a very clean eliquid which means filtering is very important.
My Hero Tobacco is an excellent new addition to the naturally extracted tobacco (NET) world. With a mild, neutral, cigar-wrapper flavor, this is sure to be great eliquid to anyone looking to try NETs. For us seasoned NET users, this is an excellent addition for our collections.
