Best advise would be keep coming to these forums, read and learn at your own pace. As far as hardware and juice is concerned stick with what works for you and you are comfortable with.
Oh, if you need the odd cigarette to help get you through the cravings, DO it! Its not the cigarettes you smoke, but the ones you dont that matter.

Good luck on your journey

I can't speak on this enough! I'm a new member and new to vaping. I'm in the process of trying to quit and I felt awful because I kept failing and buying more cigarettes. However, I am so excited to say that I'm smoking about half the cigs I was before. Just yesterday I smoked a cig before bed and I could only smoke half of it because I wasn't enthused with the taste. Good luck with you and your wife's journey. Hopefully, you can quit right from the start, but if you feel like you're failing, don't beat yourself up like I did.

My husband and I started vaping together just a few weeks ago. Everyone is different but, we have not turned back to a cigarette since. We have them lying around the house but neither of us have really been interested. This is a whole new journey and we have really enjoyed it together. It is this forum that has helped us with everything from day 1. Welcome on board!

Welcome to the forum. You heard the advise I would give. Research everything. Figure what works for you. I always say start small. You can always upgrade. I did. Now I did end up with a Provari but that was after research and after several other mods. I also got it on the classifieds here. I couldn't afford it new. But see all that was after a lot of thought. Don't rush yourself this is a journey and not a destination.

Welcome to the world of vaping. Best advice I can give you, and people have done so, before me, don't buy to much in the start. Not to much liquid, course your taste will change, not to much hardware course , before you know it, you'll have a new addiction, buying more vape-stuff. Read here a lot, learn here a lot and simply enjoy the fact that you don't smoke anymore.

Did I get a god mod to start with?

My personal opinion is that it is a good mod. My first regulated mod was the same. Only I got tired of all the things I could do with it so I went into mechanical mods real quick. But when you found your vape on your mod and don't want to make a hobby off vaping it is a very good mod.

Congrats Majaraj. The only advice I have is remember: ecigs aren't an alternative to smoking, they are the next evolution in nicotine delivery. It's a step above smoking. It is different, but better than that 1000 year old technology.

I am not sure I agree with that 100%

I agree yes it is a nicotine delivery revolution but alot of peoples goal is to get of the nicotine all together then it becomes a hobby revolution not to mention a riights battle right now

Plus vaping is wa6 better than smoking I just think its a under statement to say its one step above and only a new nicotine delivery system we all need to get off the nicotine and the first step 8s to switch to vaping

But hey hey welcome to ecf :):)
