My daughter-in-law just bought an N-Joy NPRO kit at her local smoke shop (out of state). I had sent my son in Afghanistan an 808 kit and he hasn't smoked for a month now and told his wife not to send any cigs to him. (Woo Hoo). I just bought some more supplies to send to him via the classifieds here.

This morning he was able to talk with his wife for about two hours via Skype and she got to see him using his Kr808 and they talked about it so she went out and bought the N-Joy then called me to ask what kind I had bought my son. I really wish she would have called me first, but am really glad she is going to switch too.

Anyway, I know nothing about the N-Joy line. Is this 510 based? Does anyone know what carts or cartos it takes? It looks like it comes with cartos. Are they refillable? What are they similar to?

Thanks,
Ken

I think it's a decent introduction to the world of e-cigs. Not a bad place to start, but she will probably out grow it or tire of it soon. My first e-cig was an RN4081. Battery life leaves much to be desired, I used to carry no less than 4 in order to make it through the day (that was back before portable charging cases were invented). I still have mine, but parts are getting harder to find. I still occasionally check out of curiosity/nostalgia but, there's just so much better stuff out there on the market today I can't justify the expense and effort. I have tried the NPRO though, and it was at least better than my original RN4081 as far as vapor quality and quantity. But those tiny batteries still couldn't keep up with my vaping appetite.

You can refill the cartridges just like any other cartridge. They won't hold a lot of juice though, and they're very prone to flooding the atty if you over do it. She'll need to keep several refilled carts on hand depending on how heavy a user she is. They are god awful small and can be a messy PITA to fill, so it's preferable to do them in batches and carry spares. There are cart mods in the forums that will help with some of these issues but, topping up on the fly just isn't worth the hassle IMHO. If anything, it will enable her to appreciate her NEXT e-cig that much more.

The nPro was my first e-cig as well. It wasn't enough to get me to quit, but it did help me cut way down and let me try an e-cig without spending a whole bunch of money. I probably wouldn't have ordered one online just to try.

The link below may help you find parts for it much cheaper than at 7-11, say 2 packs of blank cartos of a better quality and some juice to fill them PLUS shipping for about the same price as 5 cartos from the convenience store.

The NPRO is a RN4081. It's not a bad unit but has a small battery. There are a few suppliers where you can get supplies for them without having to go through Njoy.

I found true Njoy atomizer to be well worth the money--much better overall quality. You can actually drop the atomizer from a normal height and it kees on trucking.

The vapor is thick so you need the right juice. RY4 is wonderful with it. The Njoy looks and feels like a real e-cig. The only reason I don't use it is because it's thick vapor makes me ill.

HTH,
Dave
