Hi,

I'm looking to get into rebuildable atomizers for my new Provari mini, which I am still waiting for in the mail.

I am looking probably for some Chinese model right now, that is cheap, but well made and reliable. American made is fine too, but I'm looking to buy at least three to hold three different liquids.

1) I prefer the quartz or pyrex glass if possible
2) I'd like it to hold 3ml or more of liquid.
3) I'd like the width to be close to or the same as the Provari mini
4) Most importantly, I don't want it to leak like the Z-Atty-Pro when set on its side, because I'd like to carry the atomizers with me in the shiny new Provari case that I just bought.
5) I"d like to use steel mesh for the wick, plus wire. I guess silica wicks are fine too, just sayin.

Can anyone make some recommendations for a newbie, along with some vendor sites that sell them? I'm currently looking at the AGA-T.

Genesis (SS mesh) atomizers will leak if you don't keep them stored upright- so far, no one has come up with a really great solution to this problem, although some will seal up better than others. There are steps you can take to help prevent leaking as well, such as using a solid wick and keeping your fill hole screws in place. If I'm not mistaken, electra pipes sells an inverted genesis atty which sounds like it's leak proof, but I haven't used one, and I've heard that it's not an easy device to set up (not for beginners).

As far as recommending a good device, the obvious choice would be an AGA T-Plus if you want to go the chinese route. Nothing else from china comes with the option of a glass tank, and the AGA is a great buy for the money. If you're committed to sticking with RBA's you could try and get ahold of some high-end devices, but getting three brand-new ones may be challenging, depending on what you're looking for.

agreed with the previous post, if you are wanting to store your genesis atomizer in a nice box on its side, then a genny might not be a good choice. but if this is something you can store upright, then the aga plus is the choice, and i am not 100% sure, but i think the new ones do come with a glass tank, and are pretty close to the diameter of the provari.

You aren't going to find a genesis style rebuildable that can be stored on it's side. They are made to be kept vertical. Some of the high end units don't even have threaded fill holes. You can minimize leakage by purchasing ones that have threaded fill holes, and a replaceable screw; and by rolling ss wicks as tight as you can, and large enough to fit snug in the wick hole. But even then, they will leak some, if left on their side for long.

If you want a rebuildable that can be stored on it's side, you need to go with a GG product. Get yourself verified and you can find an Odysseus or Penelope on the classifieds. The Penelope is my favorite RBA, it hits like a champ in a way most people that have never tried one could scarcely imagine a silica wick RBA doing, and it's completely sealed, never leaks a drop. They can be pricey but well worth it if you want the ultimate pocketable RBA, IMO. Plus Imeo (the creator) is a fantastic guy. My house caught on fire a little over a week ago ruining all of my gear (literally everything except my Penelope) and he offered to send me a replacement GGTB. Now that is customer appreciation at it's very finest.

I'm using genesis for my first RBA on my Mini. A good friend helps me with the setup. The next day I setup another friend Aga T+. Recoiled twice and I got it perfect. As for my genesis it sits just nice around the tapered top of the Provari. As for leaking when put on the side I don't see it as a big problem so far. Occasionally I do put it on it side for a while, specially while driving. I guess it depends on the thickness of your juice. IMO Aga T+ will look nice if you have a Hippo. It will look flush with the Provari body. Aga T+ will be my next RBA while waiting for my Choddy. Enjoy your new Provari Mini

Where can I get an AGA T-Plus? I can't seem to find it anywhere on my search engine.
