Looking for a Genesis-style clone that fits FLUSH on an eGo battery. Line v2?

SilentEcho13, The following image may be of help(or maybe not). it shows three ego thread covers on a griffin/chud thingE.
(The two in the middle are the same cone.) Small tank cone also has an air hole drilled in it, that helps on some atomizers.

To all reading: I am not the brightest bulb in the house, but take this advice. Always use an ohm tester & check readings often. I check once built, once after coil glow pulses to oxidize wire, again after the wicking is set wet & fired. I then (during use) check ohms again, if @ anytime I disturb the internals under the hood or have shock impacts(drops). My advice: Do not build a coil & place it on your battery if you are not able to read ohms. The ohm meter is an essential tool required by RA builders for reasons of safety toward oneself & ones vapor equipment.

I avoid use of my vv super ego 650mah with my genisis styles only with 28 AWG coils, because the massive wire = a increased power suck that sends them to an early grave. (of less recharge cycles over their lifetime & per charge.). 28 drains soo quick it seems very unsafe to me. I do not often use low resistance atomizers with them either for the same reason. (low resistance is seemingly much less of a drain than the aforementioned though) I do most often use 2.5ish ohm 32 a1 kanthal awg coils on my egos with genisis atomizers & the ego powers them excellently.

I've used my RBA's on my twist with no problem, but they look damn ridiculous lol. Sure I love a big bad RBA like the next guy (trying to get my hands on a Cobra at the moment), but I really want something that's flush with the eGo, like a Steam Machine, etc. They're too damn expensive lol.

I'm hoping that someone develops an easily available 14500 hybrid mod with a manual switch (hint, Petar K, get on this!).

faceless (the maker of thei ihybrid is making a 14500 and 18500 ihybrid that is roughly the width of a p+18 (also known as tiny) made out of titanium.

Thanks for the pictures guys. The first one, the griffin with the short cone, doesn't look too bad at all. It isn't perfectly flush, but I can live with that! I may just go ahead and order one, or maybe wait on faceless' 14500 hybrid. $189 is steep, but I suppose I can sell some less frequently used stuff to raise a couple of bucks :p

259813_4173632731487_818333811_n.jpgthis is the mini DID on a kgovv. I did purchase a DUD first (after being told that it fit flush) but found out that its outer diameter is 16mm and (as we know) the ego styles are 14mm. I had plenty of practice with a phoenix setup with ss mesh but if you don't have experience you may still want to get the DUD for practice and feeling out before you spend around 90 for the mini DID. I will say that the DID is worth every penny in comparison! LOVE IT!
USE a Multimeter to test for shorts! & Definitely want to use a batt with protection! KGOvv is about 25$ Steeljan has a tutorial on youtube to make your own line if your gadgety

The mini DID is available through it's manufacturer MMVapors. They are located in Greece and you will pay a little in shipping but I got mine in 10 days. Its spendy in comparison to the DUD's out there but worth it. This is beautiful craftsmanship! Its stainless steel and every unit is numbered (mine is 271). I upgraded with the matching stainless steel drip tip and ego collar. I also upgraded with the Kir Fanis clear tank (polycarbonate I think). The pv is a kgovv and you can get them at Hoosierecig (I recommend a vv when using genni's-consistent voltage and they're protected against shorts). People have had issue with the kgovv but any issues will be handled with professional results via Hoosier. The stand (clear thing at the bottom) is bulky but I put it to good use daily. Its not necessary with the DID cuz the thing just doesn't leak on its side! You can get it at Hoosier too.

MOV has a new clear window genni but I don't know the outer diameter. Its worth a phonecall for the price but I strongly recommend an original miniDID!

Yeah it's definitely an awesome piece of machinery, though I still can't justify the price haha. I'd go for the clone if a mini is at all available somewhere out there. I'd be using it on an eGo Twist, which I believe is protected against shorts, but I have no problem buying a kgo VV as well if necessary. The whole unit will be carried in a pocket, shaken around in there, and may even break, so I definitely don't want to carry an authentic DID on there, for it's value's sake heh.

Ive done alot of research and out of the three genni models that fit flush with the ego the DID was my fav (will last forever). The cheap ones are almost always 16mm which sticks out 1mm on either side. I think you're right about the twist being protected but if you ever want to upgrade to a .1 ea variable the kgovv is cheap.
Here's a link to tempt you further into DID

Hah I'm definitely tempted, I actually really want an authentic Cobra for my Provari someday.

So to recap, the flush fitting genesis style atties are the Mini DID, the Steam Machine, the Defcon Mini, the Line v2, any others?

I just can't justify the price for something being thrown around in my pocket lol. If it was for home use, I'd shell out for a Cobra :p.

Those are the ones. I've looked at 3 more.
There is the Hellfire mini but I can't verify its flush with the ego and it doesn't hold much liquid because its tank is pyrex glass.
The kayfun is flush but its a top feed. I might try that someday but it's over 100$.
The Penelope is flush but ssmesh wouldn't work extremely well and I don't want to fiddle with nonresistant wire builds

For the money (55$) the Defcon is a nice unit. Riptrippers does a good review of it. I think this is an F1 rebuild. While its a great rebuild, I was hesitant to purchase for a few reasons. (1) I don't think these can be disassembled for cleaning. (2)(and this goes for the line as well) Its a pyrex window (according to Riptripper) which means it holds less juice because of the thickness of the glass (I ASSUME its thick) which also means (3) its long.

All that weighed in with the weak post connection of the steam machine and I was left with...you guessed it...The DDDDIDDDDD! hehe

Well now that I've beat that horse into the ground LOL, I'll leave you to it. Good luck with the hunt and I'll keep checking back to see what you've found. For your sake - I hope that clear window genni on MOV is 14mm OD.

p.s. I throw the miniDID in my pocket too- but I'm out of the house more than I'm in it. For Home I'm setting up with a sszmax and cobra w/phiniac frost tube.... just waiting for these to become available. For that matter I love Zen's stuff too. I'm also eyeing a CERA because I really want to use ceramic wicking...but thats a whole other ball of wax ;)
