Title says it all pretty much. I quit smoking shortly after the birth of my oldest daughter about 13 years ago and began dipping snuff exclusively for the last 13 years. Prior to that I grew up in the country where most everyone either smoked cigs or used smokeless tobacco so I fell right in with them. I've been off tobacco for about a month now, I had my last dip of snuff back at the beginning of May or somewhere thereabouts and then got myself an ego-t 650 battery and a few vision clearomizers and I haven't looked back. I'm now using a Kanger MT-3 clearo with the same ego-t battery and I'm loving it so far. I seem to get a better vape and flavor from the kanger than I did from the Vision clearos (they only lasted me 2 weeks even with cleaning in vodka and letting them dry.). But with this new setup I'm getting really good flavor and a better throat hit than I expected vaping a 50/50 tobacco juice w/ 24mg nic. The only issue I've had to this point is when my old vision clearos stopped vaping as well as I thought they should and didn't have as good a flavor. The vape/flavor would improve after cleaning but it would only last 2 or maybe 3 days max before I had to re-clean them. Now I've just got to get my local vape-shop (Gr8 Vapes) to start carrying the replacement atomizers and I'll be set.

Welcome to the forum Ragenowski - congratulations on quitting analogues. Loads of great information here on the forum about different delivery devices like the MT3.

I too started off with some Vision clearos (the CE5) and actually still use them every now and then. The heads do need to be cleaned every few days, I think that is normal.
If you like your MT3 you should check out the EVOD. It's very similar in style and operation as the MT3, but the heads are cheaper as you are only replacing the actual atomizer and not the whole base assembly. Vape flavor and vapor production are also excellent.

Thanks all, I will have to try the EVOD as suggested....as of right now I'm still really liking the MT3 compared to the vision clearos that I've been using from the start. It's been a great vaping kit so far and a great taste for the tobacco juice I use. I think I've already decided that I don't really like the fruity flavors I've tried, at least not by themselves. Now if they're mixed with my tobacco flavor it's not too bad, but I still prefer the tobacco flavor mix I'm using (Cohiba/Dallas) with a 24% nic.

I'm quite sure I'll be trying out new atomizers to help find the perfect one for me. My dream vape is a hard throat hit, smooth tobacco flavor, and a thick vape....A really thick vape. I know that's a tough combo to hit but after 2 days solid heavily vaping this MT3 I'm still really pleased with it. I can tell you the old vision clearos I've been using last about 3 days before I have to soak them in vodka and dry them out to re-use. They haven't been able to last 2 weeks solid vaping yet and I can't say anything about the MT3 at this point but I can say that the MT3 has a better vape/flavor after 2 days than the vision clearos had for me....Of course this is just my personal experience.\

Best thing I can say though is that I haven't had any sort of tobacco in about a month now. And I can only blame the e-cig for that.

Almost forgot to mention, my only issue with the MT3 clearo so far is that last night (first night with the new clearo) after a particularly tough round of TF2 (Team Fortress 2 for those of you who are PC gamers) I began to take the clearo off the ego-t battery and accidentally detached the top section from the replaceable bottom replaceable section of the clearo which of course dumped an entire carto of juice onto my hand.....Nice.....But that was a lesson learned and it shant happen again.

Well I've found out over the last 4 days that I like the Kanger MT3 a lot better than the vision clearomizers. Even after this long I'm still getting a great vape and taste compared to the same amount of time with the vision clearos. Those Visions give me 3 solid days and then they start going downhill fast. I start getting dry hits and burnt taste every so often and that only gets worse so I clean them using vodka and then stick a q-tip down there and try to get as much of the deposits off the coils as I can then blow them out with canned air and let them dry and do a dry burn before I re-fill them the next day. After this they work well again but I get 3 days max out of them before I have to re-clean....Now I'm a heavy vaper, taking 3 or 4 good draws every 5 minutes or so. I like the vapor and taste a lot of this juice I use (tobacco mix).
But when I got this kanger I've been vaping heavy on it for 4 days solid and I'm still getting as good a vape today as I got a few minutes after I started using it and the taste hasn't changed much, maybe even a little stronger flavor even. I've been real impressed with this tank. I just wish my local vape shop would stock the replacement attys because I'd like to keep it local as much as possible before I go to ordering them online.
