I'm doing single 24 gauge nano coil 0.45 ohm, on mech so about 30w -+ depending on the freshness of the battery
I found that the wicking method I see most in YT video angle up where you leave one end of the coil out and cover the rest give me nasty dry hit when I run "low" on
juice.
By watching it without the cap, just hitting and blowing on it, I could see that the exposed end dry early and start to spit burned gunk
I prefer horizontal with a cloud of wick underneath it, I put enough wick so it's half to 3/4 buried and leave the top part completely open to air.
Here on my Veritas.
I use Drago cotton wick not sure if that make any difference at all but it's super absorbant.
