Nano not working on some batteries

OK, I really like the new nanos...used 2 for 2 days...several refills...no leaks at all but. Between my wife and I we have 11 batteries, all manuals, and 5 of those don't make contact to fire the nano. This essentially takes 1/2 of our bats out of rotation. I'm familiar with the CE3s and pulling out the center post a bit to get contact. Does the Nano work the same way? Should I just ease that center post out a bit to make contact...or will I screw it up?

it would work the same way.... but this surprises me...this is the first I have heard of this with the nanos...are they all VOLT batts?

Yep, all Volt 78mm manuals. It is exactly the same as when the CE3s don't make a connection. Put it on 1 bat, it works fine, on another it doesn't. I have now pulled/pried the post out a tiny bit...it works fine on all bats. Thanks.

I also have an old 1300 X2 auto that doesn't make contact. I've tried prying the battery's post up a little, but didn't want to risk ruining the battery.

It's the battery post on the nano...not on the battery itself.

But that nano works on my 650 x2 manual, my 2 78mm autos, and my wife's 650 x2 auto and manual...
