I tried my new nano last night, and I must say, much better to me than the carto's. The fact that I can see how much liquid is left is a winner in and of itself. Smooth pull, great flavor, and tons of vapor. The only issue I ran into was needing to wait a little longer between pulls when chain vaping to allow the Nano to re-wick. I will be getting a few more of these.

As for the CE3, I wasn't going to try one last night, as I'm receiving a manual X2 today, and I wanted to be able to dry-burn to get rid of the primer. Of course I went ahead and filled one up anyway :2cool: Filling is a bit of a hassle for out and about, but I figure I can load a few to take with me when I'm on the go. Other than that 100% wonderful. I can chain vape the heck out of these bad boys, not much lag like the Nano. I didn't notice much of a bad taste at first but something was there. After about 15 pulls, it tasted great. I was a little worried with these after seeing many mixed reviews, but so far my experience has been good. I highly recommend watching Outlaw Vaper's Video on how to use these.

In summary, I feel the Nano is more suited to being out and about, as it is easy to fill, and looks sharp. While at home, I think I'll use the CE3's more because they are quicker to re-wick, and I taste my juice a little more in these. Having said that, these are both excellent products and I can't wait to try them out with my new X2 tonight! Thank you Smokeless Image!

A few points.

1. you can dry burn with an auto, just blow into the charge side of the battery (the part that lights up). You really only need to dry burn them if you see some clear liquid inside.

2. I don't think you can really change flavors with the Nano because of the filler polyfill material around the wick (which is why it takes a little bit to use).

3. The CE3s have some quirks, I don't know if I would call it a mixed review as I have seen equally mixed on the Nano. I think it is just preference more than anything else with any of the products.

With saying that, I recommend making your own choices on what your sweet spot is by buying and trying everything. A lot of people prefer the clearos and I don't much care for them, a lot prefer manuals and I don't really mind either way.

Update:

Got my manual X2 in the mail today, and I tried the CE3 on it. All was well until I refilled it, then due to user error I got a leak. I filled it to quickly and overfilled. Any way to fix a leaking CE3?

Filled a second CE3, and it seems like the top seal wasn't 100% because juice was escaping when I used it (from the top)
I will try fiddling with it over the weekend but I think it's a dud.

Third CE3 a charm so far :thumb:

I know there is a learning curve and I need to have more patience when filling. That will come with time.

Now on to the Nano... I tried the Nano on the manual X2, and immediately got hit with a nasty plastic taste. I put it back on my auto 78 and the taste will not go away. Will boiling fix this, or did I burn it? I guess the initial voltage of the x2 is too much?

just because a CE3 leaks from user error doesn't necessarily mean emptying it it and refilling it right won't stop it from working correctly the second try. The seals on them are like straws with you finger at each end.......re-apply your finger and you have suction again......same concept.

You may have killed the Nano, burn the filler and it's done just like a carto. I couldn't get rid of the burnt taste once it was there

unlike the Nano....two broken CE3s could make one working one...worst case
