Is the battery fresh off the charger?

I've noticed with my batteries the first few hits off the charger are a bit higher voltage. If you take long hits off that, it'll dry the wicking out around the coil and give you a metallic and/or burnt taste. After you let the juice settle again, it's not so bad. When I pull my batteries off the charger, I take small hits the first four or five, then normal.

Other than that, I'm not sure, sorry!

yes I agree with that... sometimes a new or freshly filled carto is needed for a freshly charged batt.
