Nautalus Mini on an MVP 2 issue with attaching tank

Hi everyone--

i have an Aspire Naut Mini tank on an MVP2 but the tank no longer screws on. The 5/10 connection on the MVP doesn't appear to be deep enough so the tank kinda bottoms out. It will actually fire but it won't screw on. Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there any way to fix? Thanks!!

If I am understanding it used to screw on? If so it sounds like the threads might have stripped just enough to push through. If you have a 510 to ego adapter try using that. That can let you discern whether it's the threads on the mvp, the tank, or both.

I use this combo daily, though I haven't had this problem. Sounds like maybe you or someone pulled the post to far. My understanding is the post inside the 510 connection is floating so it can move up or down (slightly) without damaging anything. If this is the case gently pushing it down may work. It is a common problem that the post has been pushed down too far so it needs to be pulled up. Also the post on my (maybe all?) nautilus is spring loaded so maybe that is sticking out too far.

Thanks for the replies. The problem isn't with the tank. The post floats fine, I wish the post on the MVP was floating as well. I think it's the top two or three threads on the MVP that are stripped. Going to try taking it back to the B&M I bought it from and see if maybe they will replace it. Ordered an rDNA 40 from vaporshark but I need to get though the week! thanks again!!

B&M replaced the MVP 2 for free!! The threads on the inside were stripped. It was only about 5-6 weeks old but they didn't have to do that!! Awesome!! Sunshine Vapor (Warwick, RI) thank you Tony!!
