Nautilus and higher vg

I read the nautilus performs bests with 50 pg or higher. I want to try a cuttwood juice which is 70vg would it be a good idea to vape it at a higher voltage? I normally vape at 4.5v with 50/50 or would it not wick very well with a 70 vg? Any one help

Technically, that would be true of any over the counter clearomizer that uses off the shelf coils.

High vg is always going to present wicking challenges, IMHO.

I'm running a 80% VG DIY juice in my Nautilus right now at 14W (about 5V with the 1.8 ohm vertical coil) and no dry hits. I chain vape and take 3 - 4 second pulls off it on the 2nd biggest afc hole. If you puff a lil harder on it you can get it to wick faster. YMMV though.

The main reason for suggesting the 50/50 blend is that higher VG juices don't wick as well and tend to gunk up coils a little faster than lower VG blends. I personally have used 70%vg juices in them numerous times without issue.

You may need to use "primer puffs" (taking a couple of draws without pressing the fire button) off and on while vaping.

I am struggling as I type this to vape 80VG (Charlie Noble Tripoli) in my Aspire K-1 mini tank. I can barely pull it off with the Nautilus but not the little K-1 BVC. Gotta use primer puffs or I'm burnt.. I love this juice but it sucks in mini tanks.

Currently using 100vg juice from upnvape and have never had wicking issues, dry hits or leaking on my nautilus, its been a champ

I've had max VG in my nautilus with no problems, right around 4.5v as well. Most of my juice is around 80%. Works great.

I've heard less airflow helps draw the thicker VG better. The highest I've gone is 65 VG and was able to vape that at 6 watts with a Kanger Aerotank, closed down to one hole. A Nautilus has a tighter draw, IMHO, and larger holes in the coil, so you should have even better luck with that.
