Hey guys,

I bought a nautilus recently, really like it as it's bottom coil, hasn't leaked yet and gives decent vapour... But after disassembling the unit to clean, when I put it all back together, the base is really loose and won't secure tight with the rest of the tank.

Has anyone had this issue?
Have I broke it somehow?

Just to be clear, I mean the tank just pops off of the very bottom part if you give it a gentle pull.

It wasn't like that before, and now for the life of me I can't figure out what's changed. Not good when you've just filled up with juice (I found out the hard way :D )

One thing that occurs to me is the top/chimney/tank is held on the head. If the head is not in all the way the base may not tighten up enough. Also need to make sure the chimney is tight and the glass is tight at the top. Any break in the seals top, bottom or chimney will cause flooding or a leak. Only other thing that comes to mind is a bad bottom seal. If that is the case your in trouble as I have not been able to find spare parts like that YET.

Spare parts are available on Aspire's website:

Thanks for the reply Jack.

Do you mean that it should screw into the head? It looks like it should, and that would make sense to keep it all tight and flush, but mine doesn't seem to want to 'grab' when screwing in.

The base is just as loose when screwing or pushing in. You'd assume it should be tight when screwed in.

As has been said, make sure the chimney is tight in the top cap, and the top cap is snug on the glass. Also, make sure your coil is snug in the base, and the bottom connector pin is poking out.
Don't fill the tank too full, I found when I did this I had to press down hard to get the base to screw onto the tank. The only thing separating you from the liquid is the rubber gasket on the base, I think the gasket causes the liquid to compress in the tank if you fill it too much, the liquid has nowhere to go and causes greater resistance against the gasket when you try to close the tank.

Sorry if I rambled.
