I had to go down from 17 Watts with normal 1.8's to 11W with the claptons, using same juice.

I much refer the standard original 1.8 BVC's

What wattage are your running the original Aspire BVC's? I was under the impression not to push it past 13.5 and have found it is too hot for me over 12.5W. Inquiring mind would like to know! :thumb:

I use clear, non sweet, 50/50, 6 mg/ml nic & vape a nautilus 1.8Ω head between 13.4w ~ 16w in a nautilus & 14.4w ~ 20w in a kabuki.

My wife vapes the same at 12.4 ~ 14.2.w.

It isn't a competition to see who can vape at the highest wattage.
Use whatever works best for you & don't get caught up in the watt chasing game.

No competition I was under the impression using them that high will cause them to burn out or fail quicker. I had my first coil fail using 80/20 VG/PG but it is sweet and I might have singed it by running the tank low one day without realizing it. 15 ML toasted that one. Going on 150 ML's with my Tobacco 70/30 e-Liquids.

I have tried my Aspires at 13.5 Watts and I do not see any reason to exceed my 12 to 12.5 watts on Tobacco Flavor and 11 to 11.5 Watts for Tropical Fruit. Even when I chain vaoe my tropical and heat up the chimney it still doesn't burn the wick or atomizer. One day I will get into building but DIY e-Liquids in my next adventure.

I read the reviews on those Atomizers and decided against getting one are they any good? I came across a 50/50 for and against on them and you are the first person I ran across still using them. How long have you been? Any hardships? Pain in butts? Oooh So many questions for you!

They are good. The flavor is excellent. They can be hard to build on because of the size. I use 29 awg, about 6 slightly spaced wraps, and it seems to be the right fit.

The first one I bought back in Dec I snapped one of the screws trying to tighten one of the legs down using 28 awg. But I enjoyed it so much the week or so I had it I bought some more. Ive probably built 2 coils in each of them the couple months Ive had them. I rewick with rayon and dry burn every couple days. I haven't had any leaks but using rayon makes everything work better. Sometimes maybe after a couple tank fulls I can encounter excess liquid making its way into the chamber. Ill just open it up, blow through the drip tip end and swab out the chamber with a qtip. Thats about the biggest inconvenience I get out of them.

Cool, Thanks! Yeah even though it is small I should be able to handle it. Now you have me thinking about this to use in my Nautilus Mini. On the one you snapped the screw did you try drilling it out? Probably not the hardest metal if you snapped it. See I have almost an entire machine shop so I would bring that puppy out to the drill press and drill it out!

Anyone used Triton and Triton mini 1.8 Ohm coils?
My wife vapes on Triton v1 using 1.8 Ohm coils and it works very well for her. But filling the atty it self is PITA due to small fill ports.
I was just looking at Triton mini and although it takes only 2ml of the juice, it looks like it haves a lot bigger filling ports, and they are not so deep inside like they are on Triton. I was thinking about surprising her with a combo of Pegasus mini paired with Triton mini, she liked the gold colored one, but i'm not sure are the 1.8 Ohm coils so nice and tight draw like the regular triton's are?
Any info appreciated :)
