The only day the thing worked right was the first one. I'm getting no vapor out of it anymore, like at all. I gave up on the tank the second I pressed my Vamo's fire button and had juice squirt up out of the tank onto my face. I heard amazing things about this tank, why in the heck is mine the one bad one? Am I doing something wrong? I'm vaping at 3.5-4.0 volt range, using Alice in Vapeland' s juice. I've switched the coils already and same problem. Thing leaks out of the airholes too. Any suggestions? I really want this tank to work :(

I'm kinda in the same boat here. I bought the Nautilus based on recommendations here and by an acquaintance who swore by them. I got mine and it worked well for the first two days, then same problems everyone else has been having recently. They apparently have a bad batch of coils, so they say, and will be shipping new fixed coils to their resellers. I've put mine on the shelf until I hear the new coils are out, at which point I'll give it another go. If I still have the same problems, it's going up on Craigslist or Ebay...

I really loved the nautilus. I still do. However, my findings is the coils are completely crap. IDK if they are real or copycats. It's easy to be deceived. I have a kanger mega tank and it has it's flaws as well. Kangers coils are just as bad. (The wickless/latest coils.)

I just found out about the new coils for the Kanger Protanks with the wicks being covered. I haven't had to try them yet as I still have plenty of the olds ones left. Are they not good ? Which ones would you say work better the old or the new ?

I'm not so impressed with mine either. With all the hype about their wonders, I expected much more. In their defense I've not seen any sighs of leaking, gurgling, or dry hits. I got PT single coils that produce more vape and flavor and don't require 8-10 watts to do it. It's a beauty sittin' on top of my aluminum vamo v2.
I'm hopin' that the atty heads are the culprit on mine as well. If not this will be another failed experiment.

The older one's work well. It's just the wickless (the wick is inside the chamber) are crappy. I think I read somewhere that they know about the problem and may have fixed it. However, with numerous vendors out in vapeland I think they will pawn off the old inventory. IDK. I'm waiting for a new vendor to get a credit card processor. I will wait. I am using a nautilus coil right now and it feels like its almost shot. I just replaced it yesterday.

I will go back to the kanger mega after this. I did try a regular kanger bottom coil in the mega and it worked. My next experiment will be using a aspire bdc or nautilus head to see if I can get it to work in the mega. LOL It's probably old news and someone probably already tried but it's hard to find info on the forums.

The Nautilus I bought worked really well the first day too then everything went wrong. I found the problem on the one I bought was the middle tube. Apparently it was a really bad solder job and was leaking liquid inside and out. I thought it would be better from the reviews I read but it could be a bad batch as well.

I can imagine how frustrating that may be. I bought one from a vendor. I also bought one from a coOp. The coOp nautilus I sent to my SIL and it had a similar problem. It leaked everywhere. It ended up in the trash. LOL she wanted to send it to me and I declined. I have enough stuff in my box/drawer of "regrets".

I do know they are making clones of the Nautilus. Any chance you obtained a knock off version?

The Nautilus was the first tank I ever bought. It worked alright for a week or two then began leaking small amounts of e-juice on a regular basis. Tried like hell to fix it, used several different juices - no change. I switched to IBTanked Carto Tanks and couldn't be happier.

In my limited experience, the issues are the result of faulty coils produced currently.

Two different "bad" nautilus tanks were "fixed" when I gave the owners two coils I had purchased months ago. Coils worked well and there was no leaking.

When an owner (guy in my office) switched in a new production coil, the tank began leaking/gurgling almost immediately.

I recommended the nautilus to both guys due to my great experience with them. The least I could do was give them my good coils I suppose.

Aspire customer service is fairly worthless by the way. I wouldn't expect anything more than an email from Kiki Chan (CS rep).

I have 4 Nautilus tanks. I've had them for about 3-4 weeks now without any leaking issues and never had any juice squirt in my face. I run mine around 3.8 - 4.0 v. I have had some bad coils though. They just seemed to fry pretty quickly. Other than that, no issues and I am getting excellent vapor production and flavor.

This was my thought as well. You can go to the Aspire website and see if you've got an authentic or not here: Aspire - Best E Cigarete, Clearomizer, Tank, nautilus. It's on the bottom right of the page. Mine were all legit based on the serial code and the packaging.

Its really disappointing. It's to the point where I'm seriously reconsidering vaping. Everything I've purchased has had some sort of problem or other. Why the heck can't stuff just work?

I'm sorry you're frustrated. I know that feeling all too well. It took quite a bit of trial and error (and wasting money on sh!tty products) before I found a combination of hardware that made vaping really satisfying for me.

I realize purchasing MORE stuff right now may not seem like such a wonderful prospect, but I would highly recommend an IBTanked cartotank and Boge LR / SR cartomizers. They're so easy to use / fill / clean, they don't leak a drop, and they provide wonderful flavor and vapor. The best option short of a rebuildable IMO.
