Nautlius 1.8ohm BVC coil maximum wattage?

For those of you who have this tank and coil or maybe the 1.6 BVC, how high of watts can you vape without getting dry/burnt hits or severely diminishing the life of the coil?

I have this tank on the XPRO M80, but still haven't gone over 10 watts using this tank. I'd like to add more heat to see if the flavor profiles change, for my Nicoticket juices, but don't want to risk damaging the coil.

Any feedback on this would be super awesome!

Ohms law: (P)ower = (I)current X (V)oltage
(I)current = (V)oltage/(R)esistince

current = 1.8 ohm @ 6V
3.33A = 6V/1.8ohms

power = 3.33A X 6V
20W = 3.33A X 6V

From experience I've gone as high as 15 watts with the 1.8 ohm coil, but I usually vape around 12 to 13 watts. The thing to do is add one to where you are now and take a hit, then add one take a hit. When it gets too warm or starts to taste burnt, back it down.

Will do the gradual one more watt test today, to see. And I won't expect to get good results above 20 based on the above calculations. Does the PG/VG ratio affect the wicks ability to stay wet? All my juices are 50/50 or 65/35 I believe.

You should be fine at 15-18w.
