Has anyone had their NCP adjustable regulator burn out?

It never really had an opportunity to heat up being that it only worked for 2-3 vapes before dropping out all together.

Anyone else have any similar issues when using this regulator?

Update:
i went ahead and ordered another set anyhow (i just cant quit you guys) LOL.
Hopefully this one will not geek out on me. Also ordered the TI Chip for the evercool mod, but God knows how long thatwill take to arrive. Never ordered directly from TI before.

Are you sure it's not getting too hot? It's only going to be drawing a little over 1.4 amps at 4.7V, but if the chip gets too hot, it'll shutdown. A simple heat sink can be made for approximately $0.01 with a flat copper disc, but they stopped making them in 1982 or '83. Billions were made though, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. I forget which company made them, but their logo had a picture of Abe Lincoln.

LMAO, Lincoln on it? :insert rolling smilie here:

I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar issue with this chip. Heard on the mod forum that someone had an identicle issue because of an intemitent connection on the board.
MADVAPES always does their best to QC what they can and this may have been my error in some way or another. I come from a low voltage background, so naturally I screw things up at times by over thinking my mods. LOL

Ps: excuse any misspellings; it's8:30AM here and I havent been to bed yet. Kinda a bit loopy at this point.
Insomnia is a cruel biatch.
