So I guess when I was blowing my atty out, as I was told to do very hard I think I might of blown too hard and pushed it off, all of it and at first i wasnt even getting vapor after i did that but now its still vaping but if it works without it then what is the reason its there and how necessary is it?

edit: its a JS that has an 801 on it

The mesh helps the juice to wick to the coil. Use it till it don't work anymore. Next time you wash an atty, try grain alcohol. It evaporates easily with minimum air flow, and any leftover will vape right out with the juice.

And I'll repeat what I said earlier. I feel that people wash their attys too much. Most failures seem to be the ones who over wash them. Just my opinion.

You must blow like a hurricane if you blew off the metal mesh around the bridge above the atomizer heating coil.

There is a metal mesh wrapped around a solid metal 'bridge' that is situated above the heating coil of the atomizer. That metal mesh also is also wrapped around a ceramic cup encircling the heating coil. As e-juice is wicked from the bridge, when in contact with the cartridge filling, it seeps down to the mesh surrounding the ceramic cup in which the atomizer heating coil is situated. As you draw on an e-cig, liquid in the mesh surrounding the atomizer heating coil is drawn in toward that coil. Blowing off the mesh is highly unlikely.

oh and does anyone know the difference between the classic atty and the kissbox atty on JSusa.com?

Had the same thing happen to one of mine and I'm sending it back. The mesh "bridge' came out when I removed the cart - no blowing necessary and with your report, I'm thinking some sloppiness in manufacturing. It was a classic - $17.95 one that comes with the JS. The other one's $9? have a 'high bridge' but they work - just have to keep the filler out of the way. But the classic was a low bridge. Interesting in that it still works! So the connections are still in place. It was as if a wad of metal mesh was stuck on top of what appears to be a metal disc.

yea thats exactly what it was, and i thought there was mesh around the outside edges of the atty but apparently it just fell off over time, and ive only had it for 5 and a half days...so i dunno maybe JS will replace it, i will use it till it stops but that kind of sucks to pay $20 for something im either not aware im doing and i broke it or it was just shotty craftsmanship im still thinking that when i twisted the carts that the fibers maybe caught on it and eventually twisted it right off? i didnt realize the fiber went ALL the way up to the mesh but now i know, i guess

It's shoddy. I didn't do anything 'abnormal' And they will honor the warranty, but you should act on it. If you don't have another atty, email Janty and tell them the situation, that it's currently working but the mesh is gone and that you want another one and when that comes in you'll send the other one back. In fact, you should have at least two anyway.... This is probably just a batch they got in, my earlier attys from them and elsewhere are just fine. Someone having a bad Monday in China :) ....
