Need a great affordable carto to replace disapointing fluxes.

As the title says I have gotten sick to death of my fluxes not wicking. One day they are fantastic then the next day they won't take fluid at all. Nothing like trying to vape burning hell fire all day. lol. So yesterday another one decided again to stop wicking and the died after 4 days of use. Gave me to dry burnign death hits and just stopped. I probably popped the coil because there wasn't any fluid there. So I'm looking for great vapor and TH relatively cheap and reliable. I use a standard ego. Any suggestions? Your help would be great. In theory the flux seems like a great idea and when working properly are the second best vaping experience I've had (dripping on a LR atty is still king). Thanks for the help! :)

WHOA!! Hold on there...before you toss those Fluxos...have you done the seal mod to 'em yet? Also, you have to turn 'em over every few hits to let the juice soak up into the wick...but if you haven't done the seal mod, you're not seeing them at even 50% of their capability. The seal mod is on GotVape's you tube channel.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm using the 2.5 ohm bauway ce2 clones from madvapes, and they're fantastic for the most part, but every once in awhile I forget to do the magic wand trick and, Katy, bar the door, that hurts lol.

Unfortunately for me, I can't get much use out of any of the filler cartos. I like to pick up my pv, take three or four big long pulls, set it down for awhile, then repeat. Try as I might, I can't remember to allow enough time for the carto to wick and I singe them, then I have to toss them because I can't stand the charcoal taste. The only carto I managed to get any use out of is the duel coils, but I don't like them because they make some of my juices to harsh tasting and they put too much strain on my batteries.

If you'd like try a pack of these bauways, all I can tell you is that taste and vapor production is excellent on an ego battery, they haven't cracked or came loose at the bottom, and it appears the coils will last really well in these. BUT, they don't wick well for chain vaping without turning them upside down and back up. :vapor:

I've done this mod and helps greatly but I still have days were They just won't take any juice for some reason. I using a 60PG/40VG liquid. Maybe that's to thick but I wouldn't think it would be.

I use them with all pg juice and don't ever have a wicking problem.

I think it is the vg. As the juice vaporizes, it has a cooling action on the coil, and more juice has to wick in for replacement. Under the same heat, vg will vaporize more then pg will, plus the vg doesn't wick quite as fast as pg. If the coil is starved a bit, it gets hotter and you have an increase in hot air. I'm not one of them there enjinears and I don't play one on tv, but that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. :vapor:

One more vote for Boge LR cartos.

(and the avatars in this thread make a whole band! Cool.)

Let's jam!! I could use a drummer. :)

Sounds solid to me. Maybe I'll go 70/30 first and see how that does. Too much PG for me though and I get sores on my tongue (echk). Although that may just have been the crummy V4L juice I was running. I dig their smilin menthol but hate everything else.

check out the "Ressurector" cartos from CCV. Their LR 1.7ohm and hold about 2ml of juice. They are sickk. They produce HUGE amounts of vapor and hit really well. I have used both PG juice and VG and havent had any problems. Ive never gotten a burnt taste and they wick well. I have been using the same 3 cartos for almost 3 weeks and one is with a juice that is 85% VG.

JD1 is right. Im pretty sure 2 other vendors carry the Ressurectors now. One calls them "Rejuvenators" and I think the other just calls them the LR 1.7 MEGA cartos. I did hear somewhere that visibly the internals are slightly different looking. I think its the polyfil that is different, the Ressurectors are more loosely wrapped, but Im not 100% sure cause ive only used the Ressurector 1.7s from CCV. Ne one used any of the others?
