I'm looking for some 18650 batteries that will last longer, if possible, in my wife's IPV2S, if possible. She's vaping at around 18 watts (20 watts at most) with a iLeaf Lemo and about a 1-1.2 ohm build on top. She does get pretty good battery life with whatever (Efest, AW IMR, VTC5, etc) we put in there but I still get called upon to change the battery more than I like. Lol! So, I'm wanting clarification what I need to be looking at, in terms of battery specs, to get her something that'll last as long as possible? I'm assuming (a dangerous thing, LOL!) that all I need to be looking at is the Mah rating; and that the highest Mah (2900, I think) would work just fine? Or is there more to consider when looking for battery life in a VW device?

Still learning all the battery stuff, so please excuse the newb question.

You won't find many high mah rated batteries over 15amps. There are a few new one though don't recall them at this time.

The other factor that will impact run time is the ohms of the coil. 1.2 at 18w is a 3.87 amp draw on the battery. A 1.8 ohm coil at 18w is 3.1 amp draw. 3.1 amp drain is less so the battery will last ~ 20% longer.

In the future I would look for devices than take stacked 18350 imr like sigelie zmax / vamo ;or even stacked 18650 like the sigelie 100w.

The zmax in stacked configuration runs me 3 times longer than a single 18650. Comparing usable run time without significant fade. The zmax v3/v5 can do up to 24w in voltage mode when stacked 18350s are used properly. I run it at 20-24w and vape pretty heavily. One set of stacked batteries last me a full day where as a single 2000mah 18650 would be 3 batteries for a full day due to noticable voltage loss when they get on the lower end.
