need a little pro advice

So i currently have a ember mod clone with a foggerv4.1 RBA, efest imr 18350 800mAh flat top. Ive made my coils with the help of a video. And im having trouble finding the info im looking for.
1. Can i use a regular multi meter for testing?
2. What is safe? voltage ohms all that stuff for this particular setup
3. Having trouble tweaking it to get the desired vape
4. How well will this work in below freezing temps.
5. Is there convenient places to get wire for coils ie hardware store. I work out of town and there are no vape shops

Those should help with the first two questions. They're a couple of the videos I've watched as I do my own research.

The rest of the questions I'm not experienced enough to answer. As far as kanthal wire you can just order it online and stock up.

You certainly can. If going bellow .5 ohm I personally recommend testing with 2 different devices wether it be an ohm meter, DMM, or a regulated device that displays ohms.

Ohm's law. I=V/R. I is current (amperage), V is volts, and R is resistance (atomizer). You need to find your batteries amp rating, and do the math based on a full charge of 4.2v to find your minimum resistance.

3. Having trouble tweaking it to get the desired vape
I have not used any of the equipment but air flow is a big factor to me. As is coil build/ placement. If memory serves a fogger is in a rebuildable in a tank so I would guess you either have too much wick or not enough. BTW make sure the coil isn't touching the sides of the chimney.

4. How well will this work in below freezing temps.
Being outside has never had any affect on my vape. If your vape is out there long term the liquid starting to freeze ( or even the wick thats wet) is the only issue that could arise.

Internet. I've never seen anyone besides a vape shop carry kanthal around.

1. Yes but you have to remember to remove the error in the tester
2. Use this Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators find out the continuous amp rating for your battery and don't pass it (6.4A for the battery stated) So a coil of 0.75 Ohms is the lowest you should go I would stick above 1 Ohm as I prefer being safe.
3. Can't help with the tweaking you need to be more specific
4. You basically vaping antifreeze so it will be OK to quite low temps, but I would think it will get thinker and harder to vape.
5. Doubtful, it is used for other things but there are no other reason to be buying such small quantities so buy online.
