I need a 5-10 minute video made composed of newsclips, informative info and anything else e-cig related. Newsclips should be free of speculation or any mention of the FDA. I'm putting a 22" flat screen at my kiosk with a repeating video of e-cig stuff to attract customers and to inform them while I'm busy with other customers. I would prefer a decent quality video, some youtube stuff is grainy and will look bad on a big screen. I would prefer there not be any homemade review vids although we all love Leaford and others. :D

Whoevers video I choose will get a free M401 so make me proud:cool:

Thanks you guys rock!!!

I'm a freelance video editor, the job you are wanting is gonna run you about $500.00 on the cheap. This is not including if the editor has to shoot the video and have a voice over or someone to speak on the video. You also have to have someone compose the background music or pay royalty to someone else for the background music. You then have to have model releases from all the people on the video. The professional infomercials that you see similar to what you are wanting cost around $5000.00 that are made by a professional production company. If you are interested in doing this and want a foreal product, I have contacts for the speaker that look nice on camera and have the personality and the production equipment, but it's gonna run several grand. I fear that for the price of a starter kit you aren't going to get a very good product. I am also a musician and play 5 diff instruments and can compose the music included in the overall price.

I understand what you meant... If you are just wanting a "slideshow" of documents... yes this would be easier and cheaper. Its still not easy to chicken hawk documents off the net and get good quality, and apply a tracking movement to the document. Heh there are many levels of complexity to a project. I'm not tryin to bid a job here, I really don't have the time to do it anyway. I was just tryin to provide info to let you know what you're up against. If anyone wants to try their hand at this, movie maker is free with windows and would be a good learning experience for a starting out editor. Even a 5 min video with just documents is still gonna be about a solid 20 hours of work if not more. A 5 min video with lots of movement and tracking plus, the time and effort of finding the clips and assembling them into a useable piece is the most time consuming. If I can offer anyone advice along the way, I'll be more than happy to. You have to be very careful what clips you use most have copyrights to them and can get you into trouble if you dont have written permission to use them in public.

Haha np, yeah it makes me wanna punch my screen sometimes. I've had a 2hour project go down the drain before, cause the computer hard drive crapped out hehe. If you get all the material together in jpg and mpeg2 formats for your editor, you will save them alot of time and yourself some expense. You have a very good idea for your business, media is a very powerful selling tool and will help alot. Just make sure they make the vid in the widescreen format if your 22" is widescreen or you will get the "fathead stretch" on the people in your video. Documents won't be a problem though.

Actually there are programs that make editing videos and such fairly easy. Videos such as these:

YouTube - [NKode] Final Fantasy X - THE ROMANCE TRIBUTE - To Love You More by Celine Dion

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQF-6GdT40E

FINAL FANTASY Video by josie.. - MySpace Video

These vids were made with programs like Adobe Premiere. Now if you want to get all fancy with the effects and such like they did then yeah it will take a bit of work, but for what you are asking it really doesn't sound like it would require that much work if you just want to paste together some clips and such.

These videos are very well done. Should be watched in whole.
