Oh, BTW I've read the black comes off fairly easy. At least on the real ones.

Hmm... Maybe I'll get the red copper then. That one IS pretty too. Oh, and don't worry about my poor, neglected, Hubby. He'll likely just demand another VVv3 anyway. He's a creature of habit. A new one won't last anywhere near 6 months though, as I'm going to start refusing to swab the threads with alcohol to clean them along with refuse to pull the battery pin up. He's starting to try repairs on his own finally. I think he caught on to my annoyance.

Well that sounds good then. I do need to admit to being more than a little entertained by your stories of your hubby. Hope you don't mind.

No problem. He's a great chef and father. Really, he is. I'm just the tech geek in the house, so if there is electricity running through it, I'm the one who typically needs to deal with it. He never really wanted to vape either. Just didn't want to be lighting up in front of me if I quit, so he tagged along for this ride. Really, a chivalrous thing to do considering he had no real desire to quit. It makes him grumbly though.

Yes, you can use a kick with 18650, 18490/18500, and 18350 in my Nemesis copy.

This one- $24.63 Nemesis Style Mechanical Mod - stainless steel / with telescopic 510 contact pin at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

A Hana mini might be the ticket. They are also starting to come out with copies of the Hana mods for much cheaper if you are OK with buying copies/clones. I've never used this before but here's a link to one of the clones out there right now.

$62.25 HANA MODZ Mini Pack DNA 20 Style Battery Pack - 7W-20W at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Yes, I'm sure it's easy to find a lot of mods that you can use a kick with an 18490, 18500 or 18350 battery, which is why I specifically asked about the 18650 battery.
I recommend a regulated mod for new vapers, so once people start with regulated mods using 18650 batteries, it becomes a pain if then then want to get a mech but discover they can't use a kick in the mech they got unless they go and buy another set of batteries; lithium batteries are not cheap, and if you buy the cheap batteries.............. well ... then you risk more problems.

I'm sure there are 'nemesis' mods out there that can take an 18650 with a kick, but if you buy an nemesis, it does not mean you get all the pieces that enable to you to do that.

That "Hana Modz" item on Fasttech has the Hana Modz logo on the box; it therefore is a counterfiet; from what I can see the trademark might only have been filed a few months ago so the product might have been produced before that, however, my confidence in buying from a seller is severely damaged when I see them selling a product which they know is a copy but where even a trademark logo is copied.

HANA MODZ Mini Pack DNA 20 Style Battery Pack

I was looking at this product and it appears to be a counterfeit product?

Isn't "HANA MODZ" a REGISTERED TRADEMARK ?
