Need a solid mod

Hi,

I am looking for a good solid mech mod. That just works. What I mean by works is:

My Sentinel Clone is aluminum, so the threads will give out quick. I bought a Promod that had SS threads, but out of the box, it is chewing up my batteries and due to the telescoping it has a little bit of play on the body of it and I am not a fan of that. The button is also loose and will probably break in due time... due.. to the poor design of the firing mechanism.

I plan on using 18650s so I'm cool with a solid body made for those batteries if needed.

I see a lot about hcigar Nemesis, but it has a crappy firing mechanism. I don't mind upgrading a thing here or there, but I just want something that is SOLID. Something that will work, and I don't have to fuss with for a week before I can use it.

I've tried to look through some of the previous threads here and a lot of stuff is getting lost through the forums discussions.

Any suggestions on a working out of the box mech mod would be so much appreciated, don't care if it's a clone or not. I have an IGo-w and RSST I will be using with it.

Thanks

I'm in the same boat bro, the hardest hitting mod that always works is my stingray hcigar clone. I got the authentic panzer collecting dust cause of the firing mechanism I haven't gotten around to fiddle with cause I'm not impressed. I have the sentinel mod clone with that alu body and personally not a fan on how cheap it feels. Then the private 2 clone and it hits hard but same issue with to many telescoping issues and all that. Today I received my hex ohm okr t10 chip made privately by some dude for 135 cdn$ really ugly made and totally unpleasant lol... But I only hear good things about it. So if I like it I'll wrap it nicely and deal with the crappy inside looks.

The search is long and expensiveeeeee

My authentic panzer is a sledge hammer hits like a Mack Truck. I compared it to my buddies clone of the panzer and while the build quality isn't as good it hits hard as hell. My complaint with that clone is battery spacing with an 18650 he has to wind his adjustment nearly all the way out. The King clone Is quite good doesn't hit like the panzer, but hits very hard.

If you want the durability of SS I would suggest the HCigar Caravela. Mine is brass, but IMO it's the best build quality of all of the clones.
Caravela Clone by Hcigar - Stainless Steel - 101 Vape

That looks nice, how was the machining on the Caravela? Was the inside smooth or did you need to sand it at all?

Also, it doesn't look like there are vent holes in the body for battery... did you need to drill any vent holes in the side?

I've been looking hard at the King mod. It looks nice. How are the threads and the firing button/pin on the King?

The King is one of the Mods that has been near the top of my list on what i've been looking at.

I've been vaping a Buzz Pro and an Infinity Pro for around 4.5 yrs. without a problem and I couln't do without either. In fact I have 4 of them. I've bought others but ended up giving them to friends getting started. Something about reducing 8.4 volts to the desired voltage just gives me a better vape than the ones I bought that raise 3.7 volts up to aroung 4.8 volts. That's why I gave them away. I have a few I built that I love too. Good luck.

The UDT V14 is a nice solid mod from YouDe tech, not for those that have been using mechs for a while and really into sub ohming. But the mod is a nice solid mod, and will hit hard if you build your coils right. I have used it myself, and yes it hits hard. I have been using it down to 0.26 and 0.12. Down at 0.12 it is not suggested, the delrin pin in the fire button has started to melt on me, lol. Oh well, not like I paid much for it. I have seen them listed as much as $75, and it is not a $75 mod, $45 at the most, which is what I have them for. Not just talking it up, as you can see, I pretty much beat mine to death. It does have a VERY low voltage drop, pair this mod with the W5, and you are pumping out some clouds.
