I need some basic advice on clearomizers -

I was part of a group buy of ce2s when they came out back in November 2010 and my experience with those left me so traumatized that I swore off top coil vaping forever. Thus I have not followed any threads where they have been mentioned or learned anything about them.

But, I read that a B&M vaping store had opened close by, and I went there today (my first visit to a B&M) and she had me trying a bunch of flavors from ce4's and I realized that I really like the warmer vape I get from them.

I bought a couple and the only issue I have with them so far is the flooding that I get if I lay my pv flat.

I also when I check out a couple of sites that there are a variety of top coil devices beyond ce4's -

So, I am asking for recommendations of economical top coil clearomizers/tanks that are good with 80%vg mixes, and if you know of one that will not flood when you lay your pv flat, that would be a plus -

I've had a lot of success with the Vision V3: AltSmoke.com - Vision Clearomizer - Version 3 - 1.6ml Clearomizer

Where I get them. Have been using these for about a year...recently bought the T3s. Still fiddling with them.

I swap the wicks out with cotton. I've been re-using the same heads for months.

Really warm vape, great flavor. Has a tighter draw, which I like, but never an issue wicking. The vape produced is very dense, of the "wet" variety (in a good way). The T3 I've been using is a very cool, "dry" vape...I use my cheaper juices in it.

Overall, the V3 has been very economical.

Doesn't leak on its side. Only issue is the plastic tank can come loose, but it snaps on.

I've been using Kanger T2 clearos for a few months now and they're pretty good. I switch between the T2 and an EVOD but find I prefer the T2 due to the warmer vape, more flavor, and better vapor.

I had some flooding issues with the T2 in the beginning but I stuck it out and now I don't experience it as much. Not sure why. Difference in heads maybe? Also, I avoid filling it up completely when adding liquid.

I lay my PV down all the time and don't have any problems. Again, it could be that it's never totally full of liquid - not sure.

I just re-wicked a T2 head with cotton and it worked out well. Good way to extend the life of the heads and save a few bucks.

I use Crystal Vision clearomizers (CE5 style?) from Nhaler. Specifically, for me, the N300 style (since I also use their iGo batts). They sell them both rebuildable (with 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8 ohm heads) and regular. They also sell the heads (long or short wick) separately or in 5 packs. I've used all combos and they do not leak at all, even horizontal or upside down. The only time I ever had one "leak" was when I accidentally twisted the plastic tank off it's metal base and dumped the entire contents in my lap (they twist off/on, not snap or pop off/on) when I meant to be twisting the metal base off my battery instead. Totally my fault for not paying attention.

I've also tried every combo of ohms & short/long wicks with no issues. The short wicks pick up the juice just as well as the long ones (though I always keep mine topped off, never less than 1/3 full) and the different ohms work just like they're supposed to. They're a little pricier than I've seen elsewhere but IMHO, the quality is worth it. I've been using mine without any issues at all for about 6 weeks now & not even had to clean one yet, even with one coffee juice (in a dedicated clearo) that's so dark I can't even see through it. Wicking high PG juices is not a problem - you just have to be patient and let is sit a minute or two to soak into the wick - both at first filling and between "hits".

I just got my first replaceable iGo n300 Crystal Vision from Nhaler. So far I'm having a bit of trouble with the taste, though I'm thinking it might just be the juice. I bought the clearomizer and juice (first time buying juice from Nhaler) and have been vaping a bit today and it still has that burned taste to it. I'm getting a good amount of vapor (much better than my month old non-replaceable Crystal Visions) but the taste is horrible. I'm hoping its just because I bought the discounted juice from them (Cream Soda - tasted like burned caramel). Does anyone else have experience with the replaceable clearomizers not tasting the same as the "disposable" ones? I know you're only supposed to be able to get a couple weeks out of them but my non-replacable ones are on week for with no cleaning (though I only use one flavor per unit).
