OK, so I have a LR tank system from totally wicked. I bought it a long time ago (christmas last year) and tired it and did not like it. Well I tired it out again a few days ago, and I am in love with it. However, I notice that my juice flavors are not comming through like they were on my resarectors, or on my normal atty's. Also I keep tasting this "off" flavor. Its hard to discribe but its kind of like the taste you get when you burn a carto dry but semi metalic and sometimes like dirt maybe? I know its not the juice I have tired diffrent juices with diffrent PG/VG ratio's, and I do not think its a wicking issue becuase I can see the liquid in the tank and it goes down about right, and the wick in the middle looks wet when I take a look at it. At first I thought it might be a primer issue, but Ive gone thru two full tanks already, as well as a few puffs of other flavors. Is this an issue with all tanks? If not, can someone point me in the direction of a good tank that isnt like this? I would like to keep with the cone style if at all possible, but I am open to any and all suggestions. I love the idea of this tank system, and they are easyer to deal with then my cartos.

It could be you're tasting the tank itself. I'm not sure what you're using, but I just started using the Sunfire clearos iVape has and did notice both diminished flavor in my juice, as well as a sort of plastic taste to my vape. Now that the one I've been using the most has broken in, the plastic taste is not as prevalent, and the flavor has increased. I'd been told to give them some time before making any sort of judgement, and am glad I did. The Sunfire holds 2.4ml and is pretty much 'fill and forget'. Add in changeable wicks and I can see myself using these almost explicitly. As it stands, I love the eGo-C for ease of use and I get a great vape off of mine, it's just the tanks eventually leak and while caps are cheap, it's annoying. These clearomizers have so far been the best upgrade to the eGo I've made in a while.

So, yeah, give it some time. Or maybe look into some different tanks. They really aren't that expensive if you look around.

I am using a 510 (ego-t 1000mah) Im not sure how I burnt the wicks :( if that is the case. I made sure that I could see juice on the wick before I took my first puff. Oh well, I got them cheep and on sale if that is the case. I just got one of these bad boys from CCV Crystal Clear Vaping with 15 cartos (Resurectors pre punched) Hopfully all goes well with these as this will be my first experience with this type of tank, and only my second with any type of tank.
