Hello all,
I purchased an itaste vv3.0 kit and absolutely love it! I don't use the iclear16s, every one I got has leaked on me. I bought a 5 pack of kanger evod tanks, still using the first tank and I'm very impressed with it!

My itaste battery doesn't last a full day, so I'm still smoking analogs. I'm looking for input on a new battery or mod.

I can either buy a second itaste vv3.0 or buy a MVP and know I can make it through the day. I don't like how the tank sticks out on the MVP so somebody recommended the VTR (unreleased at this point) to me. I like the look of the VTR but that still leaves me with one battery until it finally gets released, and who knows how long until I can order it online and get it shipped.

The tube mods look fairly large to me, and I'd like something small and portable but with long battery life. Any recommendations on something like a mini tube?

Thanks in advance for any advice/input on the subject. I'm trying to make my next purchase a wise one and save money in the long run!

I like my Vamo:vapor: I use the 18650 and it last me all day and I'm retired,at home and vaping all day long. I have only used the Blu, Ego-t and now the Vamo. I called it the beast when I first got it,as it was huge compared to my egos, but now it feels normal in my hand. You won't get a good battery life in anything small. I got the Vamo 2,from Fastech,a charger and 4 Batts, for 62.00. It took 2 weeks to get here,as they were out of the one I ordered. I keep my egos, for back up,but have yet to have a need for them. Good luck to you:toast:

I have and tried the proveri, the Zmax and recently bought a Vamo, and my honest recommendation is Vamo. Just keep an extra charged battery with you if you are out for the whole day. Even though mine last me all day and night and I am a heavy vaper. The vamo just feels better in my hand. It is slick too. Enjoy!Electronic Cigarette Information A to Z

I would suggest a provari mini. You can buy extension tube for it and use the 18650 in it or use it in short form with an 18350. It's more expensive to start with but it is repairable and will save you money in the long run. The REO's are built like a tank too but aren't as flexible when it comes to configuration .

I know what you mean about the itaste VV. I love it due to the variable wattage, but I have four of them to make it from morning to night. Lol. When I am out I don't bring my larger mod with me. I do find that my Joyetech ego twist is still small but at 1000 MAH it lasts me twice as long batterywise as the VV.

if you're also talking about the v3, here's a suggestion: share the work! i have 4 v3's, but mainly vape 1 juice, with a few others going. when my main vape get's up to about 370 - 400 puffs, i switch it with battery that is the freshest (usually my MBV moo juice). i run everything on variable wattage, generally between 6.5 and 7.5 watts (unless i have a tobacco juice going). if i forget, and my main vaping batt goes yellow, i switch it immediately with the battery with the lowest puff count ( i notice that when i do hit that juice, the battery indicator is green again.)

i don't charge the batteries until the indicator goes red, 3.6 volts, i believe. i stop when it goes red. i keep an eye on charging batteries, i (try to) unplug them as so as the green shuts off (so, no more "overnight charging").

it probably sounds a bit ...., but using this method i have found i get approximately:

    550 puffs from an evod
500 puffs from a mini davide
    450 from a protank/davide

as i've been really paying attention to this, and using only mini davides, i'm noticed the puff count go up to 520 - 550 puffs. i only turn the batteries off after charging so i can "monitor" the puff count. ymmv, but by doing so, i know what mileage i got from each battery before i charge it.

i rarely have to charge more than 1 battery a day, and sometimes even get to skip a day (though that will be followed by 2 the next day.)

i do use another battery or 2, but only have to charge them about once a week and i probably using about 600 puffs a day (maybe more, but don't quote me).

i love these things. letting them relax seems to help extend each charge.

1300 Mah Vision Spinner, about 4 and 1/2 inches long and thicker than most ego batteries. I have one and I really like it, adjustable from 3.3 to 4.8 volts by spinning the dial on the bottom, they run around $25. Of course another itaste would be a good choice also.

The problem with most mini's is the 18350 IMR battery is normally rated at 700 to 800 mah. I have the Sigelei Zmax mini, and it is very nice, even slightly shorter than the Spinner, but it is limited to 18350 batteries. Just about the same life you get from your itaste.

Nice choice by the way on the VTR, and the itaste. Innokin makes decent stuff.

Thank you everyone for the quick replies, you guys are awesome!

It looks like the Vamo is getting high recommendations. I've never looked into the Vamo, so I will have to take a look. I've researched the provari, it is a tad on the expensive side... But I would still buy it if I think it's "the one". I like that you can put a skin on it and get a more customizable expierence. I hate anything that's shiny and leaves fingerprints behind!

A spinner for $25? Maybe I'll just do that and wait for the Innokin VTR!

if you go vamo, go fast tech.

what did you pay for your v3?

cuz this is a great price:

Itaste VV/VW 3.0 by Innokin - NettMix Custom Vapes

and the black ones don't get fingerprinty. (i bought my last 2 when i saw that price, $66 plus free shipping! might get 2 more)

I got my itaste vv3.0 (only came with 2 iclear16s) starter kit at a local vape store for $69.99. I have a 2nd itaste kit coming from fasttech that I got for $40 (plus it comes with 5 iclear16s). However, one of these kits will go to my mom, as I'm trying to get her to stop smoking as well. As stated before, I hate the iclear16s... Every one has leaked on me. I bought an evod tank and its amazing, never leaks! I have a 5 pack of evod tanks and replacement coils coming with my mom's fasttech order. I should of just ordered another itaste battery, but didn't think of it when placing the order!

Both batteries are in black, love that it is a flat black and no fingerprints!

And now as I'm writing this, my itaste is dieing :( looks like no vaping for the next 3+ hours while it charges! I'm really kicking myself for not having a back up battery!

Google: Ego-v mega v2. I have tried others and these are always my "go to" batteries if I need something reliable that will go all day long no matter how heavy a day it is. You can get it in Black, Grey, and stainless. The stainless looks great with the Kanger Protank 2 and will fit in your pen holder in your shirt (if you happen to wear a shirt with a pen holder). You can also charge it directly from your USB port on any computer so you can charge it while you use it at your dest if the need arises.

P.S. It does come with a USB cable, but not the wall adapter. You can get that seperate for about 5 bucks.

you can use your v3 while it's charging!

and i'm not into plastic clearos either. i use all mini davides, Eric has them at a good price. each comes with 3 coils:

    AnyVape Davide Mini Glassomizer

i have 8 evods, but don't like the tips. too short! might replace a few with these. they can use the same coil:
