Do you have any suggestions of what I can do to figure this out? Almost all my tanks are an Aspire of one kind of another.

I have 41 mods from fasttech. Never had an issue.

If you got the launcher, it's not the mod.
My first guess is the aspire's center pin is causing a short.
Otherwise it's the battery.
The FT launcher is as solid as my authentic SuperT workhorse.

Ok I may be in over my head. What my battery did was vent. The only reason I even wanted mechanical mods were so that my battery wouldn't time out. I love my ego's but they time out way to soon for me.
I am now afraid to even use this new mod. :(
Can some one tell me beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will be ok if I use a fuse? Help Help Help

Yes a fuse will prevent your atty from shorting out your battery.
I'm still thinking the issue was the aspire 510 connection being flush and narrow and shorting against the positive contact of the mod.

Advertising aside, we all know mechs aren't the best combo for clearo tanks. The tanks aren't made for mechanicals.
I personally don't use those on mechs.
A nice RTA/RBA will work flawlessly on the launcher. I promise. All 5 of my kayfuns, 3 Aquas, 2 krakens, and a Prometheus all work great.
So do all my drippers (30 or so, too many to list).

Pm coming.
