And a mod now here too...I've diversified. :2cool:

And just so everyone knows I like everything like checking off that I've read it as it's my job to read everything on this sub-forum. So it has to be REAL bad for me not to like it....and sometimes I like it anyway because I'm on autopilot.

And  to FTS and Pen!!! *smooches*

And Bombeni I'm Tulsa OK born and raised (till I was 13), go have some Jamil's ribs for me, would ya??? :)

Hey that's neat. Yeah I'm still stuck here. Tulsa is a very uneventful place. I'd love to move to Colorado or maybe Florida. Well enuf about me. As for Jamils, the last time we ate there, three of us, the three who ate cabbage rolls, got a nasty case of food poisoning. My steak and ribs place is Freddie's in Sapulpa. I think they're all related, there have been two or three other brothers with the Lebonese style barbecue and steaks over the years. If you're in Tulsa again I highly recommend it. That's all there us to do here, eat, or go see the Praying Hands or the Oil Man.

Yep, pretty much. And you can see those two as you are heading from restaurant to restaurant....seriously, all I do is eat when I go back. Hubby went there for business and I gave him a list of places he HAD to try which equaled to 10 meals a day...

And when I lived there it was before the "wars" coming from the brothers who were involved with Jamils and before they all opened their own restaurants. If I get back there I will definitely try them. Sorry about the cabbage rolls, those were legendary to me as a kid! We only ate in the restaurant once or twice but went in the back door for take out all the time.

Brownies, Goldy's, Hanks, Lot-a-Burger, Murphy's, Furrs (if they are still open), Cony Island, on and on....

Furrs has been gone ten years but they went downhill years before they closed, too bad. Most of those still around, Coney Island still good. Now I'm wondering without asking your age if you remember Leas Pizza, or Golden Drumstick? That would speak volumes...:D

I'm from the age where a pineapple whip and steak fingers were the things to get at the Fair. Golden Drumstick I remember but I don't remember eating at, My Pi was the best pizza, though they are long gone now. I'm 45 and left Tulsa in '84, been back a few times the last being '96. :)
