Need go-go cart help!

I received my gogo today. This is my first cartomizer pv. I ordered with 5 cartridges full of ry4, but i cant stand the taste, and my empty cartridges wont be here until wednesday.

My question is - can i somehow empty these prefilled carts and put my own juice in? Any help is greatly appreciated

There is a way- But I'll have to find it for you. I didn't want you to feel ignored. I happened to read about it in the echo thread the other day and the go-go and echo cartos are pretty much the same thing.

I don't think it will completely empty them, but it should remove a good amount of juice. You basically need to do the opposite of the Taryn Spin. Here's a video: Reverse Taryn Spin - YouTube

If you don't have a nice, soft pouch like this guy does, one of those long, narrow zip-lock backs that juice bottles sometimes come in will work well. Just get the carto in there vertically, mouthpiece down, and put some staples through the bag to hold it in this position. Then cut holes near the top to thread the string through.

That article was how to clean out a cartomizer, which is what you want to do, right? You could probably get a syringe and try to suck some of the Ry4 out that you don't like, but to be honest, you won't get it all out and it'll probably still taste like the juice you don't like. That thread is a step by step on how to remove the filling, clean the carto and put it back.

The problem is, the go go cartos are so much bigger there's nothing to put over the end of it to catch the juice when you spin it. They don't come with a condom to slip over the end.

Lol well i feel a little over my head here - I've never maintenanced an atomizer before; my first ecig was a safecig.

Yea, I thought that after I posted it.

You could probably just rinse it out. The issue with rinsing any cartomizer out, and especially with the Echo or GoGo is drying. If they aren't completely dry it's like vaping through a soggy roll of paper towels. The echo and go go are so big that it's really hard to dry them and it takes a long time to dry them out. That's why the first link I posted where the filler is removed entirely is probably the way to go.

In the summer I did clean a few and put them outside and they dried. But it was hot and I wasn't in a hurry for them to dry.

That's true.

Sometimes when I do clean cartos I put them in a pill bottle with some tissue or cotton in it to absorb some of the water so they dry quicker, then put them in a pouch and do the taryn spin. No reason why you couldn't do that to get rid of juice too.

You can still use the method posted. Just get some tweezers or something and grab the wet filler out of the carto (but don't grab the center tube). Run the filler under some water to wash the old juice out. Unroll the fillers (inner and outer) and lay them to dry on a hand towel (if you blot them dry with the towel they will dry really fast). Then go ahead to the refilling steps. You won't need to do the dry burning, since you haven't used the cartos much.

That sounds simple enough. Is it going to be a problem getting the filler back in? Do you use that straw method?

Can i just say that you guys are absolutely awesome i never expected such great help! Also, someone mentioned putting the filler back in, any advice on that would be nice too. Im trying to soak up all this info

Still cant post in regular forums the tube in the middle of the filler - is there juice in it as well? Someone mentioned using a syringe to remove the juice, and i didnt know if thats the part they were referring to.

I just use the method described in that other post about refilling the go-go cartomizer. You need to make sure you have a small straw that fits over the center hole, and then a larger straw for holding the filler down. But this is all described elsewhere, so I don't want to repeat it here.

There is usually not juice in the inner tube of the carto. Not sure about using a syringe. I don't think it would get all the juice out, and since you hate the juice, there's really no reason to try to catch it and save it.

Oh, and you should be able to post in the regular forums about 1 hour after making your 5th post. So it may be working by now.
