I have 2 KR808D batteries with prefilled atomized cartridges that came with my Bull Smoke kit, which are nearly empty. My short term plan is to refill these until they no longer work. I have seen empty atomized cartridges online that could work nicely, but I'm wondering if there are any upgrades that would also work?

How about KR808D to Ego adapters, do they work well? I have 2 Ego batteries on order is why I'm asking this question.

Thanks for any help. :vapor:

I got a new eGo-T today and I'm loving it, but the two KR808D batteries still have their uses for outside my vapor room.

I'm not going to pursue any upgrades of the 808's after successfully refilling the starter kit cartridges. I'll use them until they no longer work and then toss them.
Last night I was looking around online for the best price on KR808D cartridges. I saw .95 each if I bought a lot of 25. If all I had was the 808 batteries then that would be a good deal because I'd use them up over a few months. I still have 10 used carts to play with, but those won't last forever.

Today while looking apolloecigs.com clearance page (again), I noticed their Extreme Kit Cartomizers have KR808D-1 threading. I bought four packs of 5 each, flavored, $2.99 each pack and 20% off the total. That should hold me for quite awhile if not forever.

Also today with the eGo-T came some new e-liquid from apolloecigs which are quite nice so I'm ok with the flavored carts even though they won't be as fresh as the bottled stuff. One can always mix in stronger flavors.

Cheers and happy vaping.

Hi Lord_Fubar!

I would not recommend trying to find KR808D upgrades. This is still a somewhat popular standard in cig-a-likes (at least as far as I can tell), however; most (if not all) of the better vaping products on the market are 510 or eGo threaded. While you can get an adapter to convert from 808-510 or 808-eGo, it will only prolong the switch over. I have a couple of 808 batteries still (okay, 6 or so), and an adapter, so I can say that they do work well (or at least they do for me). I would only recommend this route if money or budget is a concern, AND only if it's to buy time to save and budget for switching over to 510. This is my own personal perspective and opinion, as always ... YMMV!

808 to ego adapters are hard to find...usually sold out...guess they are either popular or only a few are made. Anyway, I have used them, but on a cig-sized battery they look rather silly. If you google "808 to ego adapters" you may find one.

On an 808 cig-sized battery, I would recommend a Kanger T4 clearomizer or a Kanger eSmart clearomizer. (both available at liteciguse) That's what I use on mine...when I use it.
