I, personally, recommend getting a VV battery to start. It gives you control over the heat of your vape. Some of my juices taste better at 3.5v, some like a little more heat to wick properly.

The Aspire Nautilus is a very popular model. I love my Aspire ET-S, and the coils, so I'm sure the Nautilus would be a great upgrade. However, the coils are somewhat expensive, and sell out frequently. Have you considered the Kangertech GeniTank? It's a similar size, cheaper, still offers adjustable airflow and large juice capacity, plus the coils are cheaper to replace. You may even be able to rebuild your coils, to get your feet wet with a rebuildable. Plus, you'll still get a glass tank. That's something to think about. Plastic tanks will reduce your juice selection. Some juices are known to crack plastic tanks.

Good luck with whatever you choose for your starter kit.

Happy vaping!

A variable v/w (twist/spinner) is usually recommended over a "non variable" v/w battery. It allows you to adjust your settings to get a better "vape". Some flavors taste better at higher voltages than 3.7v

1. JoyeTech Ego-C Twist
2. Vision Spinner
3. Innokin iTaste vv v3 or v4
4. Innokin iTaste MVP v2 (or even better an MVP 20 watt)
5. eLeaf iStick 30watt (an improvement over the iStick 20watt)

The first 3 are fall into the "ego style" category of battery (with variable voltage). They range in size from 600mah to 1300mah. The higher the mah the longer the battery will last between charging.

The 4th & 5th ones are a step up from an "ego style" battery in that they are smaller variable v/w box mods with a very big battery (2400-2600mah). It will last many vapers a whole day before it needs recharging. The MVP and the iStick are the most popular batteries for someone upgrading from an "ego style" battery.

I suggest buying only name brand Joyetech Twist or Vision Spinner ego batteries if you choose to go this route. BTW, "ego" is merely a type of battery, not a brand name. Buying "generic" ego batteries is always going to be hit or miss...mostly miss.

You will also need to purchase a tank (the juice attachment) and extra coils. The mini Nautillus, mini Aerotank or regular size Aerotank (all made of glass & all have adjustable airflow control) are very popular.

Why would you want a glass tank (you may be thinking to yourself)? Here is a great resource regarding "tank cracking" eliquid by ECF member Baditude: Something Safe for Cinnamon and Citrus Flavors

Ok but I don't know anything about coils. Is this Genitank noob friendly or something?
And what VV battery would be good and cheap?
Can you guys please specify some models for the vv battery?

The GeniTank seems very noob friendly. The coil heads are at the very bottom of your tank, and almost every tank is either going to be disposable, have replaceable coils, or be a rebuildable unit. It's very simple to change out your coils. Just twist the old one out when it starts tasting burnt or no longer produces good vapor, screw the new one in, and your tank works just like new! The main difference between a GeniTank (or AeroTank, or Nautilus) over say, an eGo blister pack tank, EVOD, iClear 16, etc. is that you can adjust your airflow, and swap out your drip tips. Not really more difficult, just more options.

I sure hope this helps. Good luck!

And how much time does a coil lasts?

That is going to depend on so many things. How much you vape, how high you set your voltage or wattage, and the PG/VG ratios in your e-juice can all affect how long your coils last. Some coils have ways to clean them to eek out a little more usage, but I'd recommend buying at least a five pack of coils to last you a few weeks. You will probably get a week or more out of a coil. But, it's not unheard of to get a couple of days, or a full month out of the same coil.

I know cost is a factor for you. When you choose a setup you think you'll like, look at the price of the coils, too. Replacement coils will need to be figured into your budget.

Ok I was thinking about getting the vv v3 + Kanger ProTank 2. What you guys think??

Consider adding a KangerTech Stainless Steel Aerotank Base (for adjustable airflow control) and you will have a GREAT setup!:toast:

Ohh so I would buy that setup I wrote + the aerotank base, that's it?????

Yes, as long as you also bought replacement coils for your Protank 2.

The Protank 2 will probably come with 1 or 2 but you will need more. How many more you will need is hard to say. Coils can last a couple of weeks (sometimes more, sometimes less). Dark colored and sweet juice will "gunk up" a coil faster than light colored juice.
