A local shop is having an anniversary sale tomorrow. I have two Vamo V2s, and a smok Magento. The two mods I'm looking at are the Itaste 134 and an Evic. The 134 is cool and evic is geeky. These are two devices I liked but never consider really buying. But the shop has them both at the same price $80. What do you guys think? Should I just save my money?

If your price range is 80 currently, I think it would be more wise to save up for a better mod. You've already had ones in the middle of the road. I'd personally go with a Rio or a Provari. Just save a little more. You already have batteries, chargers, juices, so all you need is the mod. Everyone loves the Evic but every person I know that owned an Evic is always happier with their Rio or Provari. :) Just my personal opinion. :)

They do have their Provari's on sale as well. I want a Provari but I want to wait and see if they come out with something new. I just have a feeling that with all the changes in vaping, they just might set an all new high. And that is the one I'm gonna buy. lol
Having owned a standard Provari 2.0 for 14 months and buying a second one (Mini Provari 2.5), and following Provape very closely during this time, I doubt very seriously that Provape will be doing a update or introducing a new mod anytime soon. If they were, it would have been this past spring when they made the update from version 2.0 to 2.5 which was only a cosmetic change, nothing to the inner electronics. The current Provari continues to be an extremely popular mod and is still considered to be the standard which other manufacturers only hope to match. All have failed, IMHO.

The more people that tell I should have a Provari the more I don't want one. It is starting to get right up on my list of things I wont own, like a Mac or a Harley.

That would be your loss. There are many good reasons why Provari owners love them. It's often not until you actually own and use one that you realize just how much better it is to the competition. They are worth the extra money.

I often use the anology of professional laborers and construction workers and the tools they use in their trade. They don't use cheap or even mid-level tools day in and day out. They use high quality tools built to last and take a beating. These are not cheap.

The Provari is built the same way. Every part of the Provari is the best available, whether built by Provape themselves or the suppliers they purchase from. They either build the parts in-house or use US made parts whenever possible. The Provari is over 95% USA made and assembled. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/289525-provari-made-usa.html

Doesn't make sense to buy another mid range PV. I'd save for a Provari...and I am NOT a Provari fanboy but just talking sensible.
