Need help deciding on a mod

Hello everyone!

I'm pretty new to the world of vaping. I started off with a Green Smoke and that got me off of analogs. Then I switched to a Totally Wicked Tornado tank with a low resistance atomizer and I like it. I especially like its size for putting in my pocket when I leave the house. Now I'm looking at getting a mod. I like the Silver Bullet. I don't care what it looks like I just want something that will hit really hard and produce clouds of vapor. Any suggestions. Thank you!

If you already like the Silver Bullet, you can't go wrong with that purchase. It's a solid performer and gives the option of 3.7 or 6v.

I've had mine for a year and still use it daily. So far, it's been the most consistant, least maintenance mod I've owned, and I've been through quite a few.

If you're looking for hard hits, higher voltage may be in order. You might want to add Provari, Infinity, Buzz, Madvapes VV box, etc. to your list of options.

I have looked at the Reos and find them very interesting. I like that they are juice fed. Can you use an atomizer with a drip tip or do you need to use cartomozers. Any leakage issues? How hard do they hit?

I have never heard of the Phidias, they look really nice. I have the same questions about the Phidias as I do about the Reos.

you can use either carto or atty. the phidias won't leak if you use it right. the woodvil made by reo hits as hard as well, as they both have the same wiring. they hit hard, as they are true 3.7v . you can also use either with 6v

As I said, I have 3 Phidias and 1 Reo Mini. The Phids hit much harder than the Reo Mini, of course the bigger battery is why. I would assume the Reo Grand and Woodville would hit similar. Just hard to beat the beauty of wood.

yes, you would need a higher voltage atty. you would need to get two batteries for 6v vaping and stack them. used higher quality ones like aw brand, and you'll have more safety

Do you find that vaping mods is more enjoyable with a cartomizer or DD?

i like using the bottom feeders because they are less hassle for me. fill it up and go....no refilling all day


i suppose the various tanks are now offering that same convenience for others

tricci, the nice thing about bottom feeders is the convenience, it is like dripping, without the hassle. I like cartos and the good thing is you can use either and decide which you like best. I can go well over a day on my Phids with a 3 ml bottle.

The SB paired with the dual coil cartomizers is a solid choice too.

The Alpha with Res from Innovapor is pretty bad ... too.

Hmmm...that's a good point, with a juice box mod I can either bottom feed or DD. Thanks for the insight!
