Hello everyone. Lately I've been hearing allot about e-cigs and I think that I want to get one. The only thing is I don't know what brand and model to go with and where to buy one from. I was wondering if you all could help me make a well informed choice on what I should get. So here is what I'm looking for.

-something under $100

-good quality (a warranty of some sort would be a plus)

-Relatively small in size

-I would really like to have many flavor options available and I would really like one other then the smoke everywhere gold that could use vitamin cartridges like the ones sold on the smoke everywhere site that say they are only compatible with smoke everywhere gold. Sorry I'm not allowed to post a link yet.

-Also I live in Hawaii and I am almost certain there are no retailers in my area. I want to order offline but I have heard of customs seizing these products in mailing and I definitely would not want that to happen.

I am also wondering if the model that I buy, whatever it may be will be easy to get refill cartridges for. Are they mostly all compatible with one another. Or is it normal to refill them on your own? If so is it easy to order refills for the cartridges?

Thanks in advance :D

Read the forums page after page after page and here is what you'll find:

1. Most ecigs are not compatible as far as parts with one another.

2. The most popular are the DSE901, the M401, and the DuraC.

3. If you check the forum supplier list you'll find plenty of reputable suppliers that all give warranties on parts.

4. Smoke Everywhere is a total joke in price as well as customer service and people here don't like them at all.

5. You can easily get a starter kit plus all the extra batteries, atomizers, carts, and ejuice for under $100 per kit.

6. Ordering from a company located in China like AbsolutelyeCigs.com is not a scary thing. The only orders that seem to have problems getting through customs are LARGE orders for suppliers. Most of us who are ordering for ourselves are not having issues. My last two orders from AbsolutelyEcigs got here just fine with no issues and arrived in 7 days.

7. Most of us choose to refill our cartridges ourselves using ejuice for a few reason. First of all it's cheaper than buying tons of prefilled carts. Secondly the ejuice tastes a whole hell of alot better than the prefilled carts. The carts are pretty easy to fill and you can find tons of video documentaries on how to fill them here on the forums.

Hope that helps. My suggestion is to read read read the information on the forums, it's invaluable. Second, do your research into the each of the models you are interested in, see what others think of them (put a search into the forum), watch any videos you can find of people using the model you are looking at, read all the pros and cons on the models you are looking at.

Good Luck!

Just like you, I kept reading and reading - finally I ordered a Vapor King. I have to tell you that the price was about $75 with the shipping. Their customer service was terrific with e-mails to me as to their stock. It has been about two weeks and I have tried 3 different flavors from the carts they sent (Marl, Cola, Menthol). The carts seem to last a pretty long time - based on my 2 pack a day analog habit. I could not be happier - check them out at Vapor4Life. And good luck to you.
