Need help filling Joyetech eGo MEGA empty/blank cartomizers to use with eGo battery

I received the Joytech eGo MEGA empty/blank cartomizers to use, but cannot figure out how to refill it.

It says that it can hold about 2ml of e-liquid. When I tried filling it, it just leaked everywhere. It says to remove the two plastic pieces from the mouth piece, but it just had one as the picture shows, and unsure what I am supposed to puncture exactly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where did it leak from? Did it overflow from the top where you were filling or from the bottom where it connects to the battery? The instructions say it has a film inside you need to puncture after you remove the two plastic pieces of the mouthpiece. Use a needle or some small tool to puncture the seal and then fill through the port hole.

Once you get it going, you'll love your Mega! Here's what to do:
1) Screw the atomizer onto the battery; only one end is threaded, so this shouldn't be a problem. Screw it down tight, but don't force it; the thread are quite fine.
2) Take the endcap off the tank; they can be a tight fit, and you may need to pry it off with a fingernail. DON'T use a tool because you WILL damage it, and the seal is important.
3) Insert the tank into the atomizer until it stops, and then push harder; this will puncture the endcap and allow the liquid to flow into the atomizer.

I strongly recommend buying the soft silicon endcaps, as they are much less prone to leakage. Enjoy your EGO-T!

Yeah that is what I heard about Ego Megas too and I believe they need a sharp syringe, at least for the first fill, because you are actually puncturing in a specific spot.

So I filled the carto with 1.5ml of e-liquid and found that there was some that came out the battery end. Is this normal? Does this mean that I filled it with too much or maybe too rapidly?

Yes, that's normal. It could be either reason. Just dry it off with a paper towel and vape. You should be fine.
