Hi guys
How are you all ?

I am new to the e cig world, I am trying to read reviews watching youtube videos but the more I read and I watch the more I get confused:confused: because there are hundreds of opinions and reviews.

I want to buy the e cig with the complete parts, from what I read there are many parts and things that I don't have the experience to what to choose and what to buy. Kits PCC juice and many many thing. I want to get the full package, something that can last for at least 3 weeks or a month.

As I read in this great website, this website is highly recommended:
Joye eGo Passthru Kit
is it good? if so then what to buy exactly?

My problem is I don't know what to buy, Cartridges and Cartomizers for example, low or high 6mg or 10 mg 28mg .. etc , simple I don't know what to choose so I cant decide. what to choose for juices and how many things I need to purchase.

Could you please just tell me exactly what to buy?
I am 31 years old, 16 years smoker, my fav cigarettes are Marlboro light.

Please just give me the final links for checkout that I just go there and buy because I am really tired for searching and trying to decide. As I said I want to buy all of the parts that I can use for a good long period.

thank you very much indeed:)

regards,
joe

That passthrough kit is fine but a bit limited for the price. For 9 more dollars you could get an Inferno starter kit which gives you an additional 1000mAh battery compared to what you get in the kit you linked to. Volcano Fine Electronic Cigarette Mini Starter Kit

Basically all you're going to have is either
Battery>atomizer>cartridge
or....
Battery>cartomizer
or....
Battery>atomizer>drip tip

A PCC is a little charging box but these are only used for smaller "cigarette sized" models. You're already looking at stuff like the eGo passthrough which is a bigger battery model which tend not to have these portable charging boxes because they last long enough on their own. So cross PCC off your list, as long as you get a "Fat battery" product, you will not be using a PCC.

A passthrough is a great idea because you can plug into a USB port and vaporize without using up your battery power. If you have a desk job or like to be on the computer when at home, a passthrough is priceless. You can even get a USB adapter for your car and again not have to be using your battery power while you drive around.

You need to decide how portable you want your setup to be, if you want to use cartridges that only provide about 3-5 cigs worth of use, or cartomizers that hold more juice and you can refill them, or use a drip tip where you just drip juice onto the atomizer and never have to mess with other pieces, but you have the extra hassle of carrying a bottle of juice with you and dripping it in every few minutes.

You probably can't get everything perfect on the first try, that's just how it goes for all of us. Nicotine level is a personal thing and you'll just have to guess. Start somewhere in the middle like 18mg. Just get yourself a decent starter kit. That's exactly what they're for, to get you started. Then from there you can decide to try different juices, different parts and pieces, etc.

I'll describe my journey so far for example. I got the Inferno starter kit, some chocolate flavored cartridges. Used those for a while. The flavor wasn't too great. Then I ordered some mega cartomizers, which are an atomizer and a cartridge together in one piece. The ones I ordered needed a little syringe to refill them. But the amount of juice they hold could last 1-2 days for me. So that was nice for a while, but then I wanted to dry dripping. So again from Volcano, I ordered the 306 atomizer, which comes with a drip tip. A drip tip is just a hollow mouth piece that sits where a cartridge normally would. You literally take your bottle of juice and drip a few drops through this tip, down into the atomizer. I also ordered some juices from a vendor called MadVapes. Now I drip my juice directly onto the atomizer and don't have to deal with cartridges. It is a little bit extra work, I would not advise trying to do it while you drive, etc. But I ended up preferring this method, so I stick with it now. So if you wanted to shortcut to where I'm at now, I would get a starter kit, and a 306 atomizer with a drip tip, and some juice. But you have to factor in your personal preferences.

I'm pretty new too, so my experience is very limited, but here's my opinion for a Newbie "guy". :)

The eGo Passthru is wonderful! I have a couple and LOVE them. They're not only portable (just unplug yourself from the USB) but last a long time even when unplugged. The battery charges while you're plugged in! Other passthru's don't do that.

You can also plug in if you have a USB port in your car. If you don't, get yourself a car lighter/USB adapter. They're seriously cheap at places like WalMart or Radio Shack, etc.

The Riva 510 kits at Liberty Flights are great deals for only $29.99 (while the 20% off sale lasts). Then decide later if you want a passthru...or vice versa! The batteries are large enough to last a long time through the day. Plus you have two, so you can be charging one while using the other.

You'd probably be happy with either. But if you like the PT idea...as I said, I love mine!

I've found I like the XL Cartomizers (which is a combined atomizer/cartridge all in one) better than Mega Cartridges and Atomizers (you need both for that set up) for the PT. I've had real problems with those. Still working on figuring out what's going on. The bigger cartomizers or cartridges mean that you just don't have to fill up as often. They hold a LOT (2 mls) of juice. That should last several hours depending of how much you vape.

Don't forget tho...if you get those larger cartomizers or cartridges/atomizers...you're going to need more juice to keep it filled up....and with either the Riva kit or the eGo PT, you need to order the juice right then because neither comes with filled cartos/carts. So don't forget to order juice at the same time (either from LF to start or from another Vendor. There are many to choose from)!

Oh, and just to confuse things a little more...you don't HAVE to get the larger cartomizers or atomizers/cartridges. You could just start with the regular size 510's. You do have to top off the juice a lot more often with those, though. That annoyed me, but it might not bother you at all.

The Riva kit comes with the standard 510 atomizers and cartridges.

The strength you need is hard to guess. Everyone is different. For Marlboro Lights...I'd suggest perhaps 18mg Nicotine strength (or even less)...but you can get smaller bottles with different strengths and flavors so you can figure out what's right for you.

All of this is just my personal preference. You may find you prefer another set up, but either of the above would be a good start for someone new.

HTH!

Thank you so much
so is that all what I need based on the link you provided ? Actually I am student, I usually study at my home or in my department's lab. Based on you link, the 1000 mah battery is also available at the site I put, Joye eGo Passthru Kit
check the first option about the color, you can add the 1000 mah battery for 4 dollars, so what do you think ? Also it doesn't contain liquid , I need to buy it from here I guess Volcano Electronic Cigarette Nicotine Cartridges & E-Cigarette Accessories
what is the best one ? As I mentioned I am smoking Marlboro lights ,pack a day ..
All what I need to buy is the liquid and the mini kit you told me about in the link ? Thats it ? if so , for how many days I can use ? Thanks

Thank you so much man, so you are telling me that I need 18mg nicotine or less .. Based on this : Joye eGo Passthru Kit

the options are :
choose your eGo Passthru Color
1000 mah black manual which is 4 dollars more

choose your 510 Cartridges
should be marlb 18 high ?

choose your 510 Cartomizers
should be marlb 12 medium ?

choose your Liquid
Here there is an option for choosing liquid, as you said to me I need to buy it with the package , now what about choosing marlb (USA MIX) 5ml 18 mg ? and is that enough ?

Thank you :) I think its okay, I mean is that will make any difference besides the shipping time ?

As I mentioned I am smoking 1 pack per day, sometimes it goes for 25 cigarettes, Marlboro lights.
The most important thing is the juice, just USA juice suppliers please , not Chinese. Please consider that I want a good quantity that last long before I make another purchase ( in this case I think its just the juice right ? )

Thank you very much indeed

Not to throw a monkey wrench in the mix, I'm fairly new to the forum, been vaping for almost 2 months. I was given the 902 starter kit from MV as a gift and since have bought a passthrough and then even the LUX which is a 900mAh battery.

Not sure if you already knew this but 100mAh= about an hour of battery life. I've been real happy with the LUX it uses 902 atomizers but they are harder to "drip" I havent ever used a cartomizer but have read some reviews and am thinking about it.

Trust me I know the overwhelming feeling, PV's can get complicated at first with all the vocabulary and different units out there. It got me so worked up at the beginning I needed a vape to calm down lol. Once you get into it knowledge moves fast. Dont get discouraged if the first one you buy leaves you wanting more. I bet you'd be hard pressed to find anyone out there who got it 100% right the first time around. Thing is none of us can know for sure what youll like and wont like. There's a lot of different tweeks that can be done. For instance my LUX holds 902's and 501's which opens me up to a whole different atty. Vaping is a great way to smoke analogs as well as a great hobby.

As far as the liquid is concerned. I have bought some sample packs from some different vendors and ill tell you a couple remarks on it. IMO if you smoked a lot, that doesnt mean go with a high nic level liquid. I went a got a sample pack of 5 flavors at 36mg and it gave me a headache quick, it hasnt been touched since my tasting it. Im gonna have to go buy some PG or VG at the store and cut it down. I like to puff away at my PV and dont need all that nicotine and I was almost a 2 pack camel wide full flavor smoker for 15 years. Not to mention i'm hard pressed to find any flavors i really enjoy vaping on the reg. I keep going back to my MV Dry Blend 24mg as my usual Vape and it's kind of crazy cuz with all the sites and flavors out there you'd think i'd find something different. It has a slight nutty taste best i can describe it which is really tasty to me.

If anyone has any suggestions on liquid vendors I'd appreciate it too. I'm interested in trying RY4, flue cured, and Hilton. Any Remarks? Ideas?
Thanks and Happy Vaping

Love my ego passthrough. With the 1000ma upgrade, it should be good for a full day even unplugged. got my first one here:

Joye eGo Passthru Kit

Add an additional battery and 30-50ml of a couple different juices that sound good and you should be set for a while.

The extra battery is probably overkill but u will never want to be without at least one spare of each maintenance item in case something breaks/wears out.

The above kit is a great starter since it gives you the ability to try all three main methods of vaping.......cart/atty, cartomizer, and dripping; all without buying a bunch of extra parts. 18mg should be fine, but I would recommend ordering at least one bottle of 24+mg stuff in case you find that the 18 doesn't quite cut the cravings at some times of the day.

a few fav flavs: 555, virginia blend, menthol (and never really was a menthol smoker), ry4.

good luck on starting your journey to leaving analogs behind.

Nope, Liberty Flights is great. Here is the eGo: Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo Here is the pass-through if you spend a lot of time in front of a computer and want to add it: Electronic Cigarette - Pass-throughs - Joye eGo Here is the PCC, but you shouldn't need one...the eGo batteries last a long time and it is a pretty superfluous piece of equipment: Electronic Cigarette - PCC's - Joye eGo

Unfortunately, Liberty Flights is out of Boge 510 2ohm cartomizers which work great on the eGo. I ordered mine from VaporKings Joye 510 / eGo cartridges and cartomizers down the page on the third row or so

Lots of good juice vendors out there. My brother is a Marlboro lights guy (I can't stand them) and he really enjoys Freedom Smoke USA Wyatt Earp. FreedomSmokeUSA FreedomSmokeUSA
FSUSA fresh mixes their juice, so it needs to sit and steep for a few days before you use it...but the eGo kit comes with some generic Marlboro cartridges. You should probably get 18mg and 24mg juice and see what works for you.

Great! So now I will go and buy this: Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo

so what I need to buy now is just the liquid right ? In the link that you put there about the juices FreedomSmokeUSA , the available options is 24mg nicotine and 3 Milliliters. is that enough ? I could not find 18 mg of nicotine which is better for me I think , 24mg is too much
