My brother has this tank he got off a friend. I don't recognize it and I have no idea how it comes a part. It looks like an ARO. But I'm not sure. Help?

It might possibly be a knockoff Kanger Evod. It untwists from the bottom. It is Ego threaded. It can use genuine or knockoff Kanger single coil heads. The heads are the same ones used in a few of the Kanger tanks including the Protank Mini. The heads can even be rebuilt! Checkout Youtube if thats something that would interest you. I hope this helps!

If it is difficult to untwist, you might try using something like those silicone or rubber jar openers.

If it is a genuine Kanger Evod it should have the Kanger logo on the base part...don't see that in the pictue, but it might be on the other side. It does look like an Evod.

The early ones (before there were knock offs) did not have a Kanger logo on them. They added that later as a distinguishing feature.

Okay, it is the evod, I also was thrown off my the lack of kanger logo. Not to mention the difficulty of the base coming off. I ended up screwing it onto a old ego battery that doesn't work to pull the bottom off. Former owner that my brother got it from didn't know how to open it. I figured it twisted off the bottom but the difficulty made me think twice. Thanks everyone for your help.
