Need help in my Quest for the Warm Vape...

Hi all,

Seeking some guidance on what considerations I should keep in mind and what my options might be if I'm looking for a warmer vape. What matters most - voltage, ohms, top/bottom coil, vg/pg mix, all of the above?

My current set up is pretty simple: Ego C (so can switch between 3.2 and 3.7 volts), CE5 with most coils at 1.8 ohms (might have others at different ohms, but try as I might I can't see any indication on them of what they might be). I've been vaping 50/50 mixes (in case that matters).

The little bit that I think I know is that I might not be a fan of bottom coils, as I tried an Evod and found the vape to be pretty low temperature for my liking.

So, what say you, knowledgable forum members, how does a brother (or sister) get their warm vape on?

bottom coils will give you a cooler vape, top coils warmer vape. top duel coil, warmer vape still.

resistance and voltage works into as well, especially with atomizers and dripping and such. But I have no experience with those.

I am fond of the iclears both the 16 and 30's. Tighter draw, warmer vape.

I'd recommend some dual coils with a 3.7v apv or a single coil with a variable voltage or variable wattage for more warmth. I've got a 2.4 ohm evod on my itaste mvp right now set at 4.6v and it's pretty warm to me. That's just me though...it's all about nuance

yeah, you can get a warm vape out of a bottom coil -- as long as it's primed properly first, or else you'll burn it or pop the coil -- and neither are good
