Need Help. Mech Mods, Aspire, RDA?

Hi, brand new to the forum and farely new to vaping. I currently have a Itaste VV with an Aspire nautilus and want to up my setup. I was looking into the Vamo V5 because I do enjoy messing around with the voltage/wattage but I also want to get into RDAs and all that stuff. Now should I buy the Vamo for a RDA and the Aspire or should I just get a mech mod because I dont really want more than 1 battery. Would a mech mod work fine on an Aspire Nautilus, if not would a RDA work fine on a Vamo. Should I buy the Vamo or a mech mod (Ive been looking into the magneto mech mod) for both tanks. Thanks

Since you're still new i'd suggest you go with the vamo route and learn how to build your coils properly (if you buy an rda)
A mech mod doesn't sound like what you're after.
With a mech mod you can't change the wattage, not in the way you want to. You'll need to build the coils to fit the watts you want.
Vamo and a mech both uses 18650 battery. So you'll have to carry a battery either way. :)

Another good choise would be mvp2 since you only wanted 1 battery, its high mah so it'll last long.

If you decide to go the mech route, be sure to read up on mech mods and battery safety first. And use good batteries such as sony vtc4/5.
The nautilus wouldn't be optimal on a mech mod since you're limited to 4.2v fully charged then 3.7v after you've drained it for awhile.

Get a mech Mod with 30 amp batteries. It will keep your options open for running lower ohm coils, and will also run your nautilus. If you look around you can find a mech with a extension tube for a kick and still have some VV options.

In this case i'd go with nemesis with evolv kick 2.
This is actually better than the vamo. But it still requires some knowledge.
Good thing all this information is on this forum. :)
The user Baditude got great blog posts about mods and batteries.

Amp limit on a Vamo is what, 5 amps? Wattage is the same as a provari at 15, that means at 1.2 ohms it will still fire at 6 volts. The provari with it's 3.5 amp switch will only go up to 4.2 volts on a 1.2 ohm coil, and I do that all the time with a dual coil patriot RDA. Basically, as long as you build for 1.2 ohms, you should get the full range of voltage out of your Vamo with a RDA. Any lower than that and you won't be able to crank it all the way up due to the amperage limitations of the devices switch. If it's anything like a provari it will still work with lower ohms, it just won't let you crank the voltage up much above the minimum setting before it stops firing.

I'm pretty against standard tanks on mech mods. If you build something yourself, you know how to check it. I've had quite a few coils for the tanks like the Kanger come out of the box shorted out. The way they are designed is just to close for comfort for me. Vamo or SVD will give you the best of both. You can use your tank between 5-15 watts. You can throw and RDA on an SVD at 1.2 ohms and 6v. That will be 5 amps and 30 watts! In the manual it tells you that in order to get the full 6 volts, you need to run two 18350s. Never in a mech mod! In a variable volt, it is frowned upon by some. If you go that route, make sure you read every thing you can about proper battery care(pairing, rotation, charging, discharging...putting them both in the right direction)

Personally after trying a RDA I have no use for a tank. I find the vape on a RDA with a mech mod and a vtc4 infinitely superior to any tank I have ever vaped. I dont need a giant reservoir of juice that only gives a crappy to decent vape. The increase in flavor and vapor I get on a RDA greatly outweighs the convenience of a tank IMO.

you should consider the SVD first... I had 2 vamos, both died from 3' or less falls. The SVD has been abused for the last 9 months and is still holding strong

I currently use a vamo v5. It'll fire anything above 1.2 ohms. It's a pretty dependable device. I've been using mine for the past 4 months and have nothing bad to say about it. I use several different tanks on it (KFL+, protank 2, evod) and have only ran into problems with the kanger tanks, and that's only because they can't handle the wattage that I run the KFL+ at. I too moved up to the vamo v5 from an itaste vv 3.0. Get the vamo. You'll love it!

If you can afford a stingray Clone get it, it's basically a nemi w magnets, look on eBay, or angel cigs. Com, Nimbus sucks. The cap is so big, and the deck is small, not 22mm, which is what you want, so it's flush, the cap creates a huge volume of space and that means bad flavor, Nimbus is arguably the worst atty available.

How much do you want to spend on mod n atty, do you mind waiting 2 weeks and getting it from China or do you want it next Wed or close.?

I'm assuming you want to go mechanical....

I don't really think a kick is cool you'll be fine better off with out it.
