Need help mixing cherry and menthol together

Hi all, I have started with a simple mix, so I thought, of cherry and menthol mixed with 50/50. The problem is that I don't seem to get the cherry flavor to show up enough. I have been using a 5ml bottle for mixing. Should I mix the cherry in first and then add the menthol or do you mix both together at the same time. I will add nic later to the mix. I just don't want to waste it in something I won;t vape. I do use a juice calc. But I just can't seem to figure the % of flavor to use, any suggestions?

If it's a strong menthol, usually one drop per 5 ml is the rule, not a '%' of menthol. The watkins cherry is good usually 4-6%

The menthol may be too strong. It might be overpowering the cherry.
Or it could be that the cherry just isn't strong enough.

What percentages are you using?

When you are trying for a mentholated juice, always mix the flavor first until it is satisfactory and the slowly add 1 drop of menthol at a time until you like the result. It would be nice if the base flavor was steeped first.

Is it me and my taste but I added menthol, which I like, to Raspberry and it tasted like cough syrup and yet the first thing DIYers recommend for menthol for non tobacco flavors is fruit. Is there another flavor best suited to menthol because my DIY didn't work out for me

If you get bathroom cleaner juice or medicine juice.... It maybe to much % of that juice.
Also, rasberry in my experience is strong at first but let it sit a week, rasberry mellows out alot after sitting

I kinda thought maybe I should've tried adding more menthol after the fact It was only 3 ml so just tossed it

I think I added way too much menthol to begin with and I was trying to add more of the cherry so now it taste like a cough drop. I think I will dump this one and start all over.

you can add some pg or vg to dilute it. But if it ends up great you have no idea what your mix is
Never dump a juice. Let it sit for a couple weeks.
