I've been reading these boards since yesterday and decided on getting the MVP 2.0 Energy. Here's what I have in my cart @ completevamp.com. Is there anything else I need to get? Should I get the innokin iClear 30B with this? Thanks.

Nice choice with the MVP.

I'd recommend getting more liquids. Look around for vendors with sample sizes, where you can order 5-10 samples for $x. Or... Find a local vape shop with a juice bar. Finding a liquid you like is essential, and it's not a trivial thing. When I first started, I would buy 10 samples and only like 2-3 of them. With the ability to taste at local shops now, I can go test before I buy. This saves a lot. If your local shops are too overpriced, you can usually find the same liquid from an online vendor for less.

As far as the toppers... You will have lots of choices. You might want to try a bottom coil like the evod or protank (or other similar ones). Everyone has their own personal favorite, so it's hard to say what you will like.

Since you are new you don't need large tanks to start. You will want to try different juice and some people switch juice during the day for variety. completevape has Aspire ET-S glass clearomizers that hold 2.5ml and are bottom dual coils around $9. I love them on the MVP and ego batteries. I have 6. You may someday get a juice that ruins plastic tanks. No problem with pyrex glass. Replacement coils are around $12 for 5.

edit the MVP should come with the i30 or i16

Having extra tanks are nice, then you can switch flavors by changing the tank. I have around 6 different tank systems all with a different flavor in them. Would suggest the Aspire Nautilus BDC, as a good choice to have. It's good to try a few different tanks, they all vape a bit differently and you may prefer one style over the other. And like Spaz said, get a few more flavors, get different strengths too till you find one that works best for you. One rarely likes all the flavors they first try, so having a selection will give you a better chance of finding some that you like to vape.

For juice look at Mount Baker Vapor online they have 15ml for 4.99 just got through and pick ones might like but they mix to order so most of there juice need some steeping time. You can try 5 for around 25$ I would recommend getting a kanger protank 2 they are bottom coil and you can get on one ebay for $15. That is the setup i use the mvp2.0 and kanger protank 2......

I, in my biased view, totally back the EVOD suggestion. ;> They're very good little clearos not perfect, not epic, but consistent and easy, at an unbeatable price for their performance. Two of those, and pack of replacement coil heads would be optimal.
The heads are rebuildable if you want to try your hand at it, so it's a good intro to that. The backup heads are so you can change and go, then if you want to rebuild, you can do a few at a time in batch.

(edit) They are not glass/pyrex tanks though, so cinnamon, citrus, and some of the colas can cause the tanks to crack.

When you go to your local B&M to try their juices, be sure to ask if the samples have nic. or not. If they don't you will find that the flavor you like will have a different taste once the nic. is added.
As Paul said you need to add nic. to your juice if you are coming off analogs. Just saying.

You won't get ANY hit out of 0mg. It is purely flavor. I, personally, enjoy flavorful 0mg with high VG content. You'll get lots of flavor and tons of vapor but you will get absolutely zero throat hit or nicotine intake. If you are trying to quit, I would star with 12-18mg and work your way down from there. This is how I had success. I went from 18mg down to 6 and now i vape 0-6mg. I almost never go up to 12 mg anymore.

Assuming you meant completevape.com, I went to their web site. You get a iclear 16 with the MVP. The 30B does not use the same coil as the 16. I've been wanting to get a 30B myself but my wife seems to spend my "savings" on romance novels... (it's ok. I'll catch up)

Whatever type tank you decide on, you'll definitely want more than 1 tank whether it be another 16 or the 30B. Just make sure you get the appropriate coils for the tanks you choose.

Good luck and Happy Vaping!! :vapor:

Thanks again for the responses. I'm not a heavy smoker. I've probably been smoking Newports for 3 years now only a box a week. I usually smoke when I go out drinking (to stay drunk longer lol), in the car driving (bored), and during work breaks (cant wait to get off lol). Quick question though is 18mg equivalent to a newport cig? And do you guys know how long it takes for completevape.com to get more shipping in? It says about a week on their website.

lol I started on Newports over 40 years ago before there were lights and 100s and the old guys laughed a filters and menthol.

If you are not a "gotta have one as soon as I get outta bed" kinda smoker, 12 to 18 should be fine. If you get a buzz, try something lower. Don't buy too much until you find out how you handle it.
