Need help on different models/batteries

I am a 5 week vapor and need some help.

I started with a Magna 510 and then got a Joye 510 because of a fantastic sale. I have bought lots and lots of cartomizers, batteries, atomizers, etc.

I am happy with vaping, but I always feel like the TH is almost there - like I am making sauce and it tastes good but it is lacking something. The flavor taste is "almost" as well. I thought that if I could go to a product that is stronger I would get that vape I am looking for.

Here are my questions. Can I upgrade to a product that produces a stronger throat hit without having to totally buy another product. Can I buy something that is compatible with the stuff I already have? They make adapter things...can I get one of them? What should I be looking at? There are so many products and it so confusing to me.

I use 24 to 30mg flavors that are 90% GP, so I don't think I can do much more with that. I have tried drip/dip but I do not like those methods.

I spent way more than I should have and I don't want that to be a waste. I know I can try selling the stuff, but I don't have the money to spend on a whole new kit and I can't sell without buying first.

I don't care if it looks like an analog or not. If it helps, I used to chain smoke about 2 to 3 packs of analogs a day. I vape all day and half the night!

I would appreciate any advice, comments, suggestions, etc.

wow 2 or 3 packs u are gonna need to get u a mod or build your own... i dont like the 3 piece devices i am a cartomizer user myself but for the battery life and constant smoking u need... u should find urself a good Mod with long battery life and high voltage...the high voltage makes the throat hit and flavor way more intense.

As a former 2-3PAD person, I'll throw in here.

I did the 510 kits to start, got tired of having batteries charging all over the place. Yes, try a mod, something with a big battery (18650). A Silver Bullet (used) or an Omega or a Screw Driver. Or, pass all those up and get a Reo or Kanji bottom fed juice mod.

Check your juice configuration and vendor. Some vendors juice gives good TH at a 80/20% mix, some don't.

It is a learning experience, and can be frustrating at times. Not to mention expensive. The classifiedes here can be your friend;)

i tried vaping some unflavored 16mg and there was more throat hit and nic buzz. im guessing the flavorings make it smoother. also a LR atty with the chinese tobacco flavored juice seems to hit hard and sting my throat a little. but really a higher voltage is probably the way to go. oh and ive read on the forums here that adding a little vodka or pga helps with throat hit, but you'll have to research that.

I smoked 3 packs of Kools per day, 4 if it was a late night. My all-day vape is 36 mg TV Butter Rum @ 6 Volts. I keep some 40 - 45 mg handy for emergencies. I mix some of my own liquid, with spotty success.

You seem less than impressed with your PT. Do you notice a difference compared with your standard 510 batteries? Which PT do you use? Don't be offended, it's very easy for a PT noob to botch the setup. At 5V, a 510 needs at least 1.5 Amps, and 2 Amps is recommended.

To answer one of your questions, a 510 is the most common connector used in the big-battery mods. You will be able to use most of your stuff if you make sure to get a mod with that connector, or an adapter. 6V and up is hard on atomizers, so make sure to have plenty of extras. You could easily go through 4 or 5 attys the first week, just learning how to vape at higher voltages. I learned to keep 510 attys alive @ 6V by tailpiping (no cartridge or drip tip, lips right on the atty). That allows me to closely monitor how hot my atty is getting, so I can let off the button before it gets too hot. If it's uncomfotably hot on your lips, it's too hot, period. At 6V, a 510 can go from warm to hot to dead in a few seconds, before you even notice the foul, burnt taste.

Are you kind of "handy"? You might be able to use those 510 connectors on your standard batteries. This stuff might interest you:

No, I am not handy at all. And I barely understand the vaping lingo so I am feeling very stupid right now.

I do know that my pass through was bought at the same time I got the Joye-510 batteries. I find that there is no difference between the pass through and the battery. It does say me from having to charge batteries, but that is about it.

Everything I bought was just listed as 510 or Joye510. I know my batteries are 180amp (or mah or whatever). I do have atomizers that are Volcano Magma which fit on the batteries but are bigger than the 510's (the cartridges are different too and not interchangeable).

From looking at numerous sites it seems that my battery is really low, which is just making me more confused. If I thought I could sell all this stuff and start over again I would, but I have already invested over $200.

I will look at the links that you sent me. Thank you. I am also trying to sell a couple of things so that maybe I can buy a LR atomizer.

If anyone can give me specific - go to this site and buy this - type info I would welcome a PM. I will not hold it against anyone if it doesn't work out. I am very grateful to the person who referred me to the Volcano Magma even though it is not what I want now.

Any other suggestions welcomed, but please remember that I really don't understand which piece has amps and which piece has volts and how to tell. Maybe those links will help me understand more.

Thank you all for your advice and info. I am sorry I am so stupid at this.
