Hey peeps, just gotten my ithaka, I must say it's an excellent device. But I've got an issue, anyone manage to coil them with 26ga resistance wire?

I have tested those gauges 20-28 wires. its not needed for this. Ithaka is not a genies.
The reason why it was used in genies is to get sub 1 ohm. You can do the same thing here with a 34 gauge wire. as a dual coil. it will give you a more enjoyable taste, vapor, and throat hit.
Look at my youtube channel for creating coils.
Imeo if u use two wires with exact same resistance but one thicker than the other (it will also be longer because same resistance) the thicker wire gives more flavor. At least this is what I noticed. It has to do with the heat at a unit of length.
Bish my argument was that thin wire has less flavor than thick wire for same resistance. That's all. I agree with everything you said.
Pure nickel wire for NR. I use 32ga.Thanks for the replies everyone. Now another question, are there cheaper source or alternative for NR wires? Silver .999 are pretty expensive.
I wouldn't use silver they break to easily under heat especially dual coils.
