I have a new problem that I need help with.
My VTube is going out and needs to be returned for repairs. This is the only Mod PV I have, and the repairs could take weeks, including shipping back and forth, so I need some help picking a tank System that will work while I'm without the VTube.
I have one Smokeless Image Volt Spinner, and a short eGo-type battery, but they are both 808 (or 801, whatever), like a TGo, with the larger eGo threading outside, so none of my 510 stuff will work on them. I also have one short eGo-Type Battery that's eGo/510 threaded.
I know I could get some 808 to 510 Adapters, but I've been wanting to get a Glass Tank System that's eGo Threaded anyway (the large outside threads). Two of the batteries are the standard eGo 14mm diameter, and the Spinner is a little bigger in diameter at 16mm.
Size and Capacity isn't a major concern for this, but for me, a larger Capacity is better, as I vape pretty heavily. 1.6ml really isn't very much. So I really wouldn't mind if it might be considered too big for the little eGo-size Batteries, as I have also have the Spinner. My Vivi Nova wouldn't look bad on the Spinner (if I could fit it). And I even like it on the small eGo 510 Battery with a Support Collar. So size isn't an issue.
I have one 2ml Glass Carto Tank, so of course, that's 510 (I could get some 808s for it), but I'd rather have something similar to a Kanger T3 (but with Glass), which could be rebuilt, or have replacement heads installed, rather than another Carto Tank. It doesn't have to be bottom coil, I just used that as an example of a Tank System, though BC would be great.
Everything I've seen so far either isn't Glass, or it's only 510 threaded. I really don't want a metal tube, as I really like to be able to see the juice levels. A window would be OK, but totally clear glass would be my first choice. I'd like to have Glass/Pyrex because of Cinnamon Red Hots.
I realize that if I'm going to buy a few tanks, I could just purchase something like a Vamo V2 for about $50, and also get VW in the mix, as the VTube is only VV, but VW Variable Adjustments are really lacking in some PVs at only 0.5W Increments (the Vamo does this, why not have 0.1 Increments there, too?), and I also want something to work nicely with these 808/eGo threaded batteries.
If I remember correctly, I think I've been told about a Carto Tank System that's clear, and made of Delrin. As long as it cannot be damaged or melted by any E-Liquids at all, what ever it's made of would be fine with me, as long as it's clear (or at least transparent, like smoky gray), but I'm also on something of a tight budget. Those Delrin Tanks were $80 each. I do know that Polycarbonate and the other plastics are out.
With so many Tank Designs to have so read up on, I thought I'd ask the experts what they were aware of for this application.
So what, if anything, are you aware of, that would fill this bill?
