need help please!!! vaping problem

The Reason I asked is that the Original Subtank Mini (and Many Clones) came with a Non PEEK type Insulator. And people reported that it taste like "Monkey ...".

So if you Tried everything, and things still Taste Funky, you might want to think about Replacing the Insulator.

i doubt mine is replaceable.. trying to remove it as i type lol..

Sounds like hot spot taste to me. Pull it apart and see if the legs are glowing when you fire the coil. The coil (just the coil) should glow evenly red. If a part of the coil (or a leg) almost glows white hot, then you have a hot spot.

hotspot usually happens on the leg, one way I fixed it is typically stretch the legs of the coil with pilers tightly outwards to make it as straight to the mount as possible forming _0_ don't seem to get any hotspot issues anymore. However, I still occasionally get the dry hits and funky tastes from mixing of old juice left in the tank

If its half tank, it could be gunk. Gunk can fill up around your coil area and it can make your wick get tighter which makes it more difficult for your wick to absorb juice at a faster rate and hence can cause dry hits/burnt taste. Clear the gunk.

Hotspot usually appears if there is access wires not covered with wick. After setup, always juice your wicks and fire off for a while to check for glowing wires.

Dull, hot vapes means dry hits. Your wick is not wicking nicely. There may be juice feeding to the wick but not sufficient. So usually for the one second when you fire off it is working but when you drag longer, it turns to dull and hot vape. You may be having a wick that is too thick. Try to lessen the amount of wick used.

im smoking on cloud nano (berries) the taste is like uhm.. metallic i guess its the closest. it makes me want to puke everytime i take a puff

hotspot?? Yes, when you say it taste metallic AND hot it can be due to a hot spot on the coil. Just throwing out ideas here cause that's what we do! It's part of problem solving.
