Hi!

Drastically in need of help with this e cig malarky! Right, where to start...
Firstly i bought the e-lights ecig was going great on the pre-filled cartos but found them too expensive as was going through a carto just over a day, so i gave up on that and bought a 3 part e-cig from ........., think it's the same model as the healty cig which was really rubbish with the 24 and 36mg nic pre-filled cartos so again i gave up on that and decided to start filling myself with e liquid, so i nought an american blend and a b&h flavour eliquid not too keen on the b&h but the other was really nice and got good vape and strong throat hit. The problem i'm having now though is ive been re-filling the e-lights pre-filled cartos, i gave them a good clean, dryed them out and everything was fine, i have a total of about 5 all filled up with like 30 drops of e-liquid but some are working better then others, not getting a good throat hit on most of them and the flavour is going on them, just don't know what i am doing wrong if anyone could give any suggestions that'll be great??

Was thinking wether to change e-cigs to a 510 but don't know which model?? Thanks really want to stick with it have some different juice coming but starting to wonder if it's ever going to work for me! :-((

Go with an Ego or ego clone (Kgo's are popular). You'll get much better battery life and performance.

I personally hate cartos, and use an ego battery with a Vision Ego Clearomizer.

Well, I dont like carto's or Clearo's, but that's my opinion (like atty's). The ego/kgo is a good starting device, just get the manual battery not auto

I think from what you say that when you washed them out and dried them they were still damp inside and this has diluted the juice you put in, if your going to refill them you should pull the old foam filler out and throw it away! if you google "blue foam cart filler" you`ll find plenty of places you can get this from. Refill with this drop in your juice and away you go.
When it comes to other e-cigs, well theres just so much choice out there now it`s really impossible to tell you which one is best for you. I`m afraid that`s a decision only you can make. My only advice would be to take your time and check out as many as you can before you buy.

+1 for the KGO.

I feel as if I were a shill for whoever makes the KGO now, so I'll have to throw in E-Power. It's the same thing, basically, but with the added bonus that you can swap out batteries (uses generic rechargeable batts). The downside - you need to buy the batteries and a charger.

Also, I must say that while later (or sooner, hopefully) down the road, you just have to discover atomizers and dripping, I'd start with a couple of packs of low resistance (2.0 Ohm) cartomizers - they are a little more hassle free, and there is less room for "this doesn't wor, eff it I need a cigarette" moments.

Cartos should last for quite awhile, but when the vaper production goes down, you can clean them. I've heard that some people put them in the oven and heat them to get them dry after cleaning....helps speed up the drying process. I personally leave them up side down on a paper towel for about three days before refilling. I agree, sounds like you didn't get them dry enough before refilling. Hang in there!! Don't give up....after you get the hang of it, you'll be sooo glad you did! Whatever ecig you end up getting, just be sure it's a manual battery instead of an automatic (longer battery life)

If you want something that will JUST WORK right out of the box, get yourself a KGO. The kit comes with two batteries, each will last a day or more on a charge. Also get some Boge 2.0 cartos or some 1.7ohm low res single coil cartos.. add a drip tip and some juice and you'll be vaping the day you get it. Hoosier, Dark City, Virgin Vapor are a few that have them. You can go to youtube and watch some videos too... but don't give up, your perfect vape is out there! If you have specific questions, PM me and I'll be glad to help.
